🇨🇦 Domestic: Charter Absolute: For free speech and civil liberties. No "balancing" away our rights. Free Markets: Cost-benefit analysis for every policy. No exceptions. Tight Immigration: Focus on economic contribution, not social engineering. Anti-Bully: Aggressive against anyone trying to silence dissent. 🌍 Global: Peace Through Strength: Strength is the only thing that deters dictators. Anti-Islamist: Unapologetic defense of Western values. Free Iran, not Free Palestine: Stand with the people of Iran fighting for liberty; zero sympathy for Islamist proxies. Canada First, not America Last: Our sovereignty is the priority, but our alliance with the US is the bedrock of our security and economy. Sovereignty: Contemptuous of "international law" that undermines Canadian interests. Free Cuba: Freedom for the island, full stop. I’m a Blue Tory who believes the West is worth defending. If that makes me an outlier, so be it. 🇨🇦💪 #cdnpoly #Okanagan #CommonSense

Day 21 of zero data throughput. Now 75+ mins on today’s call & just received my 3rd transfer. As a business client, this 'support loop' is costing me active real estate deals. NOC tickets C211653311 & C211654964 are breached. I need a Technical Manager, NOT another transfer. #RogersDown #Kelowna #CCTS @RogersHelps @Rogers

Yes, I am a business client (Small Business profile) in Kelowna. I'm currently on hold for a manager because Case IDs C211653311 and C211654964 are breached. I have full 5G bars but zero throughput across my Nokia Gateway and Pixel 9 Pros. I have already filed a CCTS complaint. Please flag this to the Wireless Technical Escalations team. #CCTS

Solid case for Finland’s Housing First—80% integration and €15,000 savings per participant are hard to ignore! The 75% homelessness drop since 2008 shows it works. But 2024 data shows a 11% rise to 3,806 homeless—the first since 2012—due to austerity and housing shortages per Finnish reports. Funding’s key, and part of that comes from Finland’s lean $4.45 billion (2022) military budget ($800 per capita), now ~$5 billion with NATO. Compare that to the U.S.’s $900 billion+ ($2,580 per capita). Why? Finland leans on the U.S. as the ‘world’s bodyguard’ via NATO, freeing up 2-3% of GDP for social programs instead of global defense.Add low immigration—2,948 asylum apps in 2024 vs. 108,138 in the UK—and a homogeneous 5.5 million population (1.4% African background), and you’ve got stable housing demand. But this raises questions: neighbor disputes from substance use persist, and scalability in diverse, high-immigration places like Canada (40 million) seems tricky. Could the U.S. shift military funds to mimic this, or is Finland’s setup too unique? Keen to hear your view!

Finland has nearly ended homelessness nationwide with its HOUSING FIRST strategy which gives people a small apartment and mental health and addictions support without any preconditions. Thanks to this approach about 80% of participants successfully integrate into society, finding stable housing, employment, SOBRIETY and greater well-being. BE LIKE FINLAND.
BladeoftheSun@BladeoftheS

Finland knows that Socialism works. They house all the homeless people, and have the least in the world. They closed all paid Education in 1976 and now have the best education system in the world. They are the happiest country in the world. Be like Finland.
