@NASA_Marshall How much do you think missions like this accelerate the path to a Mars journey?
English

🚀 Enjoy these views of the Artemis II launch from cameras affixed to the rocket! On April 1, 2026, the SLS (Space Launch System) rocket lifted off, sending four astronauts on a test flight around the Moon and back aboard their Orion spacecraft. These cameras, developed by engineers at NASA Marshall, are called the Flight Imaging Launch Monitoring Real-time System (FILMRS). They are able to survive some of the harshest environments during launch.

@Big_nana_02 @WhiteHouse @NASA Based on the time of year, and the visible shadows on the surfaces of Earth and the moon, I'd guess the sun is 93.1ish million miles away, off camera, above, slightly behind, and slightly to the right of earth.
English

@Ishaq66939slrk @WhiteHouse @NASA Let me internet that for you. "Artemis II astronauts capture high-definition imagery using Nikon D5/Z9 cameras, GoPros, and iPhones, which are transmitted to Earth through a combination of high-speed laser technology (Optical Orion/O2O) and traditional radio frequency links."
English

@WhiteHouse @NASA Am I supposed to believe that??
They have 5g on the moon to send photos to the earth!!
English

@cjnonso04 @NASAAdmin @NASA It's impressive that you're both A on the internet B still have this question. Respect.
English

Why do they need parachutes back to earth are they not returning back to earth with same rockets they used to fly to the moon and again it will be a wasteful journey I guess if they don’t mount any cameras somewhere around the moon so even if they come back to earth the activities of the moon can still be monitored in real time just thinking out loud
English

Artemis II has reached its maximum distance from Earth.
On the far side of the Moon, 252,756 miles away, Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy have now traveled farther from Earth than any humans in history and now begin their journey home. Before they left, they said they hoped this mission would be forgotten, but it will be remembered as the moment people started to believe that America can once again do the near-impossible and change the world.
Congratulations to this incredible crew and the entire NASA team, our international and commercial partners, but this mission isn’t over until they’re under safe parachutes, splashing down into the Pacific.

@GalvestonFerry Why would the ride itself take any longer? It's the "being stuck on Ferry Road without a Gulf or toilet in sight" part that's the real time-suck.
English

Spring break is in full swing, and so is the traffic on the Galveston Ferry! The ride over might take a little longer, but the views, the breeze, and that Gulf Coast magic? Plan ahead, pack snacks, and enjoy the journey. We’ve got your free ride covered. ⚓️ #BestFreeRideInTX

@clsthyyyy @lcvebyers Potential Spoiler: they're preoccupied trying to save their sister and, you know. Earth. It's not like they're just hanging out doing whip-its under the bleachers. Like I was after my mom got attacked by a demogorgon... Look, we all grieve differently, ok? Who are you to judge!?
English

@lcvebyers I don't even feel enough worried from the 2 siblings (Mike&Nancy) for their parents 😭 like idk, they were in the hospital and I don't see them checking out on them enough like even calling the hospital to know how are they every minute ect, it is probably off screen again argh
English

@PhonyBennett @lcvebyers I could not agree more. At the end of every season, I have been telling anyone who will listen that it would have been so much better if Mike and Nancy had spent more time at home babysitting a toddler in case we're ever asked to believe that they love her.
English

@PopCrave After handling mean tweets this well, it's easy to imagine how this "astronaut" would have handled things if damaged wires caused an explosion that led to a critical loss of oxygen in the command module, and they'd had to use the LM as a lifeboat to survive the trip home.

Amanda Nguyen, the first Vietnamese woman to go to space on the Blue Origin flight this year, opens up about the depression she suffered from an “avalanche of misogyny” in the backlash following the mission:
“I felt like collateral damage, my moment of justice mutilated. I did not leave Texas for a week, unable to get out of bed. A month later, when a senior staff at Blue called me, I had to hang up on him because I could not speak through my tears.”

@lynithea_trades @DeathSerpent1 @PowaPackRu @youryoki Oh come on. At no prior point in five seasons have I thought "Mike gets that Will is gay now!" have you, genuinely? He had to come out at some point. Please describe how you would have written it, Shakespeare.
English

@johnpcurtiss @DeathSerpent1 @PowaPackRu @youryoki Are we just ignoring the fact that eleven can read his mind and has known he's gay since season 2?
Or all the subliminal messaging we were forced to endure in the dialogue between will and his friends?
They knew he was gay, they've known for a long time. Its lazy writing
English

@lynithea_trades @DeathSerpent1 @PowaPackRu @youryoki To be fair, let's not forget this show takes place in 1987. teenagers back then weren't bragging on tiktok about being nonbinary. "gay" was a bigger deal. I'm sure 2025 Hawkins is just as woke as anywhere, but in the context of the story, Will's press conference makes some sense.
English

@DeathSerpent1 @PowaPackRu @youryoki Yeah so super courageous to come out and tell ur best friends since childhood who already know ur a f4g that ur a f4g.
Its ridiculous and a waste of everybody's time. An insult to the viewers intelligence, and low effort character development
English

@MaryMary7x77 @NickAdamsinUSA What should I say if I am not a clerk and/or don't work in a store?
English

@NickAdamsinUSA Real Americans say whatever their store company says to say. You all act as if it's the clerks decision to say happy holidays when many times it's corporate that tells them what greeting to say. Don't take it out on the clerk at the store or the admin on the phone. Don't be rude

@blueapron pro tip: If you don't put a space in front of "https", the word in front of https becomes part of the link, which breaks the link.
