PabloReports: Who do you think Trump should fire next? AOC: Is he out of women? Trump only seems to have the capability to fire female secretaries. If you’re a man in the Trump administration, it seems that they reward misconduct.

@NickSzabo4 @VivekGRamaswamy sounds like you’re describing a majority that determine what being american is, and the minorities just have to deal. and this sentiment you and others have would precurse denaturalization. tyranny of the majority

@johnsmith9wns @VivekGRamaswamy Most of his awful policies are quite related to his being an anchor baby, including the ethnocidal opinion he stated in this tweet. There most definitely is a vast amount of sense in ancestry, in cultural and biological relatedness, just as there is for any other nation.

You can travel to Italy, but you’ll never be an Italian. You can travel to France but you’ll never be a Frenchman. You can live in Germany but you’ll never be a German. You can pack your bags and live the rest of your life in China or Japan, but you’ll never be Chinese or Japanese. Yet you can come from any one of those countries to the United States of America, and you can still be an American – so long as you work hard, you play by the rules, you make your contributions, wait your turn, pledge allegiance to the flag, and obtain your citizenship.

@NickSzabo4 @VivekGRamaswamy nick, he may suck, but an american none the less. there is no sense in having a ‘how many years have you been here threshold’ that constitutes being american imo. not when we were founded on the displacement of natives & so recently in the scope of human history

Told @BeckyCNN that I am baffled by the narrative that fractures within the Iranian leadership are the obstacle to a deal, rather than Trump's erratic behavior, change of goal posts, and maximalist demands. Trump also recognizes that in a deal, he will have to give massive sanctions relief - which will trigger the most intense fight he has ever had with Israel, which has opposed all deals with Iran that have involved sanctions lifting.

What's notable about the manufactured "Iran's leadership is in crisis & Trump needed to extend ceasefire for this reason" story, sourced to Israeli & US officials, is: Trump is openly in crisis, made a ton of false claims & flip flopped nonstop because Iran refused to capitulate.

I did not boo Haley Stevens or even Jordan Acker, that is unbecoming of me personally and the office I hold. The people who participated in that were not supporters of one candidate or members of one campaign, they were rank and file Democratic party members who are frustrated with the status quo and the chaos coming down from the Trump Administration. I don’t think negatively or attacking your opponents is the way to win, and I thank Dr. @AbdulElSayed for his condemnation of this behavior. That said… I think ignoring the reasons for this reaction would be a huge mistake. People are frustrated. Costs are rising, healthcare and childcare are unaffordable, and our taxpayer dollars are being spent on murdering children overseas while our schools at home remain underfunded. Not all of my preferred candidates have been nominated, and that’s okay. The important thing is we continue to work towards building a better Democratic Party and a better country. That starts with nominating Abdul El-Sayed for the US Senate in August and electing Michigan Democrats up and down the ballot in November.

Here is why I think, by the way, Israel is causing the West to start publicly hating on Turkey now: It is not about Turkey (which they hate, discount and patronize), it is about Iran. They want Turkey to allow something to be done against Iran, and Turkey is not accommodating their wishes. Maybe they want Turkey's air space; maybe they want it to influence Azerbaijan to allow its territory to be used for an invasion of Iran. I don't think this is about Turkey per se, for this has no context; they are trying to scare Turkey into fulfilling their colonial wishes regarding Iran. Whatever it is, I really really wish Turkey continues to say no
