In 2023/2024… UNC Football raised $7 million in donations. UNC Basketball raised $760,000 in donations.

UNC would not take Nate Oats. 1. They never hire outside of the UNC ties”family” 2. Nate Oats has an awful image. 3. I believe there are only two jobs Nate would leave Bama for and they are Kansas and Michigan State. He didn’t leave for Kentucky he’s not going to UNC

Support among key donors, which was already teetering near the end of the season, cratered for Hubert Davis after UNC's collapse to VCU in the NCAAT. It would have been difficult to raise enough money to field an adequate roster for 2026-27 without a coaching change, per sources.

For the record, I love Coach Davis. We won a national championship and spent some amazing time together through the years. I hope we can keep HD and the current staff, while making whatever changes that need to be made to keep the UNC brand what it has been for so long!

Braves absolutely need to sign Lucas Giolito now. Spencer Strider is the latest loss, hitting the IL with an oblique. Other recent hits: (Schwellenbach, Waldrep, Wentz, Profar). And since they are owned by a public company, we know they make a huge profit.
