Key finding from fMRI study on dissociation. Patients with dissociative seizures show higher state persistence in brain-wide Locus coeruleus co-activations. Could impaired network switching lie at the heart of arousal-related dissociation? A caught-in-the-headlights mechanism?

@reinboth Was mich dabei ärgert ist, dass oft schon der Versuch, diese psychische Seite des komplexen bio-psycho-sozialen Bildes anzusprechen, als "in die Psycho-Ecke schieben" abgestempelt wird, statt anzuerkennen, wie sehr psychische und physische Gesundheit voneinander abhängen.

Interesting meta- analysis showing impact of Covid, absent severe medical complication, is v modest and predominantly driven by dep/ anx. Nite the cautions on lack of routine PVT testing in this group with 9% of subjects failing when tested- assoc with eorse cog complaints
