@hailseitan21 @philkyprianou @hexclad In 3d printing, we used to have hotends that had PTFE tubes butted up against the heat block, and we'd run them at 200 - 220 C for regular PLA filament. You'd see the end of the PTFE tube degrade over time at those temps. No doubt people are overheating their non-stick pans.

@hailseitan21 @philkyprianou @hexclad Any time somebody cooks with PTFE based non-stick pans they're ingesting it and breathing in the VOCs and UFPs. Nobody is meticulously monitoring the surface temp of their pans to ensure it stays at safe temperatures.
