@WheelieInvestor No such thing. I have more lines open than I can account for, some will naturally close over time with inactivity.
Keep a solid rotation and maximize your rewards.

@TinyToothDDS Love mine, had it 2 weeks after sitting on an invite for 5+ months
English

@DividendMil @RobinhoodApp While it’s a nuisance to read the terms and conditions for every card, it’s not like they don’t disclose it ahead of time. Doesn’t apply to tax payments, rent payments, cash equivalents, etc
English

Paid 5k for my state taxes with my Robinhood credit card to get 3% back…
Guess what…they paid me $0 and said it wasn’t eligible.
Do better @RobinhoodApp
This is just another reason people lose faith in your company
English

@BrutusVTI The only thing currently I can see holding people to traditional banks is access to cash deposits (in person and ATMs) and the use of platforms like Zelle. If those two are ever figured out, which may sound easier than it is, there is little to no reason to stay
English

It really is nice earning 3.50% in my checking account with Robinhood banking.
I receive a meaningful distribution that could cover a small bill each month.
With options like Robinhood banking and Fidelity’s Cash Management (SPAXX earning ~3.30%), I’m not sure why anyone still uses traditional banks like Chase.

English

@paradisemint I’m sure it’ll come sooner or later for me. Signed up for the card on 3/17, funded some investment accounts that day. Hopefully within the next few weeks I’ll get the invite for banking
English

@jypfoto The is the inverse issue. They invited me for banking about a month ago. I just never signed up for that part as I figured no use for it without the credit card.
English

It finally happened today! After contacting support about them removing me from their waitlist by accident, I got the invitation.
Hope they are ready to dish out some serious cash back. The backing with 3;25% in checking and 4.25% in savings is a good upgrade to some of the places I am using now like Apple Cash.

English

@DividendRay @paradisemint Same, I got $10k, 840+ credit score, have cards with $30-40k limits
English

@paradisemint I only got a $10k limit and I have perfect credit.
Curious your limit if you don’t mind sharing?
English

@SCHDaccumulator Retirement or taxable? Better in a retirement, better options for a young investor IMO.
Higher expense ratio, tax inefficient.
English

@Leo_Traydes Membership Rewards are most valuable when transferred to partners under select circumstances. Also need to factor in the excise tax as well.
If you’re a regular Joe Schmo redeeming for economy flights for you and the family, it’s not as valuable.
English

@ms_roundhill No wait, legacy cardholder of the X1 which RH acquired, bypassed the waitlist. Though the reservation sat in my inbox for 5 months, wasn’t sure if it would be invalid by the time I hit apply
English

@Leo_Traydes If you’re going to play the points game, better options. Blue Cash Preferred gets you 6% on groceries up to $6,500/yr for $95. 5% dining is available on several cards. Also be aware that when transferring points to travel, you’re subject to a excise tax
English

I believe the Amex Gold Card is better than the $HOOD gold card by far (depending on your situation of course)
Simply put - my biggest spending comes from Dining and Groceries which is 4x points back with Amex Gold
$5,000 a year in these categories is 20,000 points. With certain transfer bonuses to certain airlines you could make that 40,000 points which could pay for many/most domestic round trip flights
That ends up being hundreds of dollars when compared to $HOOD 3% back on 5k
Then of course you have the perks that pay for themself as soon as you sign up
For $325 a year, if you’re a traveling man I don’t see why you don’t choose $AXP
(No I’m not getting one nor do I have one)
However, I do believe if you could combine the Robinhood Gold and Amex Gold that would be a fantastic credit card stack 🤷♂️

English

@Leo_Traydes While I don’t think they’ll add it to their core platform, I could see one day, spinning off a separate platform, (name) powered by (brokerage).
At the end of the day, demand drives products, if there’s a meaningful shift, don’t rule it out
English

@rokajoska Not at all, barely notice it. I have my rec sports books for sports wagers, took me months to realize that PMs were in Coinbase. Then again I’m pretty good with just focusing on what I need and drown out the things that don’t matter to me
English

@jypfoto so the prediction market stuff does not bother you then ?
English

I'm seeing a growing number of posts from investors leaving $HOOD because of its gambling vibes
$HOOD is known for its fast, gamified trading experience.
$SOFI stands out as the more serious and trustworthy brokerage in 2026.
- Significantly higher customer satisfaction scores
- Cleaner regulatory record
- Full suite of integrated banking and financial services
For investors seeking reliability and professionalism, SoFi is the stronger choice.
Robinhood or SoFi which platform do you prefer?

@ThatRothGuy Great advice, just pick one, set up recurring deposits, pick your mix, and move on to worrying about something else.
Brings back flashbacks of those jumping ship for HYSA the moment theirs drops .10% and another is having a 90 day promo. Your $2,500 balance won’t notice a thing
English

@CGInvesting10 Moved over some stuff to them today, started using the Gold card today. Hopefully get an invite to the Banking side soon.
Don’t care about picking stocks, don’t care about prediction markets. Just spend the 10 minutes setting up recurring and forget it
English

@InvestFreedom05 Congrats! Mines coming this week, already moved over some auto charges while I wait
