@uscattlemen It’s not mandatory, until it is American consumers are still at risk of the same old shit they’re being sold from South America
English

"Product of USA” should mean something and now it does.
USDA’s new awareness campaign supports its strengthened standard—products must be born, raised, harvested, and processed in the U.S.

This is what we are fighting for. 🇺🇸
Driven by American grit.
Defined by the American spirit.
Born here. Raised here. Harvested here. Processed here.
The TRUE American standard.
Because when you see that label, it means exactly what it says: PRODUCT OF USA!

If you thought making a profit at $4.00 corn was hard wait until it hits $1.52 😳
“Without the use of year-round E15 and using corn to produce other fuels such as marine fuels, the study predicts corn could fall as low as $1.52 per bushel by 2050.”
You better sharpen those pencils and tighten those belts boys!

@jzerr66 Did the calf make it?
Man don’t leave us hanging…
English

@jzerr66 Are you providing hay at that price, or is the customer having it hauled in?
English

Custom calving.
Bred heifers are undervalued because the old guys that can afford to buy them are too tired to calve them.
If you're paying $4,000+ for the animal, paying another $150-$200 per live calf isn't unreasonable.

Scratch cattle off this list of ways for young people to start farming. What’s left 🤔🤷

@ThinkethSo NW Kansas. Don’t sale yourself short. If somebody has the money to buy these Hfrs and don’t want to do the work. There’s no need in you tighting your belt
English

@jzerr66 Oh wow, that's way more than I charge and more than anything of the custom calvers I talk to about pricing. Where are you?
English

@6bushel I saw a guy last year with a conveyer triple axle meridian get loaded in Scott city. And I thought, sob that’s my idea!

@jzerr66 Two different neighbors have asked me if a big bumper pull seed tender would work for cubes in the last month or so. I know nothing about cubes but you must be onto something. 🤷🏼♂️
