On Friday, we cut the ribbon on Curtis Bay Elementary School's new State-funded playground in partnership with @kaboom Team46 knows that every child in Baltimore and Maryland deserves world-class play spaces designed in partnership with the community in which they're located.

Part of creating a sense of belonging in playspaces is integrating cultural identity into the design. The Día de los Muertos themed playground in Brownsville, TX is an example of how we work with the community to tie in cultural elements. #HispanicHeritageMonth

Since 2022, KABOOM! & The Powell Foundation have been creating playspaces that spark joy while teaching kids about the environment. Together, we’ve ensured every public elementary school has had a new playground built or replaced, in Huntsville, TX! bit.ly/4eYbq13

We recently celebrated an incredible milestone with our 15th schoolyard transformation at REACH Academy and Cox Academy, moving closer to our vision of transforming 25 schoolyards by 2026 with the invaluable partnership of @kaboom, @ousdnews, @workday and @kpthrive.
