I am torn. DeSantis is a brilliant mind. I have met him, heard him lecture - there are few who are his match intellectually - which is why he belongs on the Supreme Court. On the other hand, he is the most effective manager of a large bureaucracy that I have seen in my lifetime. For instance, I could see him being an excellent Vice President pick in 2028. That talent, which could really help the USA for decades to come - would be wasted, if he was on the Supreme Court.

@ryanburge Interesting. I was raised Assemblies of God, and I now attend a Non-Denom Pentecostal church with AG roots. But the church my wife and I visit most often is Episcopal. (I would bet that more than 13% of that particular congregation identifies as Evangelical, though.)

A pretty good representation of the denominations that embrace the evangelical/born-again identification and those that don't. Assemblies of God is most likely to ID as evangelical: 92%. The mainline is all below 40%. Episcopalians are the lowest: 13%.
