@JaydenDavisNC It’s not wrong though. You have the model set to 5.6 so when using 5.5 instant if it switches to thinking it is going to use 5.6…. It is correct as is

Can anyone at OpenAI please fix this, it is a little confusing. When I have Instant selected it still says that GPT 5.6 Sol is also selected down in the dropdown.

Can OpenAI put ChatGPT atlas inside of the ChatGPT desktop app codex browser?

@ParkerOrtolani You can either long press the sun button to quickly change between them or once you enable the intelligence and the plus button it stays on, so they actually simplified it. I’m enjoying this much better with the model right there in the search bar to change.

wild how many taps it now takes to change your model in ChatGPT mobile, curious about that decision… guessing the average user almost never touched it but still this is pretty hidden

@hqmank I believe the only difference is the simplification of the UI and how much you’re shown. Work shows you a lot less detail than developer shows.

What's the difference between Work and Codex in ChatGPT❓ My guess: Work is for non-coding tasks, Codex is for coding. How are you choosing between them?

The only thing that I think could be better about the GPT-5.6 release is the selector in the iOS app It just says GPT-5.6, it doesn't tell me which one (Sol, Terra or Luna) I know it's Sol, but it should be shown in the selector too

@kayaMads @thsottiaux @_rajanagarwal I had the opposite problem I spent too much with 5.5 over past half week (down to about 20% weekly left before 5.6 released) then I got zero reset of any kind. I'd rather be you in this situation :P

@jasperdevs I just got access on the chat side so it’s coming. I assume now that their priority was ChatGPT work and codex first then chat

so GPT sol is not coming to ChatGPT...
