This podcast style is a new movement that is just raw and real and cannot be replicated anywhere else. Super bullish on The Cap Table.

ngl i consider myself an abg expert and it’s time tech twitter get educated. as someone who grew up in the bay area (not tech bro bay area, i mean real bay area) and is of SEA descent, let me break down to ya’ll what an abg really is (plus where to actually find them): a lot of ya’ll be posting the lightest most east asian, international girls and calling them ABGs. im not saying those girls aren’t beautiful BUT that is not an ABG 😭✌️ when non-tech ppl say ABG they’re usually referring to a very specific aesthetic (lashes, heavy makeup, dyed/blonde hair, tattoos) this aesthetic originated in the bay area, southern california and nyc, particularly in southeast asian communities (but def some east asian too). all three areas were major hubs of asian immigration in the 90s and early 2000s, and the abg aesthetic was initially shaped in the 2010s by the second generation asian american children of those immigrants. so where are the ABGs in the bay area you might be asking? def not in sf lol. but i noticed a lot of ppl on this app be talking about how dating is cooked and there are no girls in sf? take the 50 mile drive down to downtown san jose on any friday or saturday, go to labyrinth bar & kitchen, and thank me later
