A biophysics grad was just detained under BC's Mental Health Act. All based on a psychiatrist's opinion after observing him in a cafe. He looked at him & said “I’m certifying you” THAT’S ALL IT TOOK. No warrant. No on scene evaluation. No psych evaluation. No paperwork shown. No chance to comply voluntarily. Just because a psychiatrist saw him in a cafe. Meanwhile, the same city has a documented drug addicts, where one person, has been apprehended 79 times and is still on the street. The government can grab a credentialed researcher off the road in 20 minutes but it can't keep a chronic offender out of the same intersection for more than a week? What a joke.

The whole world needs to tell Trump to fuck off and stop treating Cuba like a political punching bag. Decades of sanctions, isolation, and economic strangulation have done nothing except hurt ordinary Cuban people. Enough is enough. Countries around the world should be sending food, medicine, infrastructure support, and investment to Cuba instead of standing by while the U.S. tries to squeeze an entire nation into submission. Collective punishment is not “freedom.” It’s cruelty. The Cuban people deserve dignity, stability, and the right to determine their own future without Washington acting like it owns the hemisphere.

What would be absolutely legendary is if fans skipped the U.S. games and packed the stadiums in Canada and Mexico instead. Better vibes. Better hospitality. What's so irksome about US posturing against Canada on mutual defence is that they treat us as moochers, when we're clearly net contributors. Here's the USAF Commander of NORAD having to explain to Congress that defending the US would need more resources without Canada.

🚨From the comments I’m from the US, but live in Slovakia. The rest of the world is VERY aware of what is happening in the US and we are horrified. It’s like watching history happen in real time, but seemingly at least half of the country doesn’t know or doesn’t care.
