Why is Ontario so backward? "This summer, solar provided 68% of peak electricity load in California and in the Midwest wind covered 49%. In Ontario, renewable sources provided only eight per cent of peak demand in 2022." thestar.com/opinion/editor… #Yourpower #onpoli

@hydroottawa How does this make any sense. The bigger the turkey you cook means you will have more left overs so you would have even more left overs for future meals that you don't have to cook for. Thus saving more energy.

We know you've got a lot on your plate this #Thanksgiving weekend. One way you can save energy in the kitchen is by buying a smaller turkey. Select an appropriate sized bird for your dinner party (and of course enough for some leftovers)

#BREAKING In an all too predictable play, Canada's mainstream media heavyweights - CTV, CBC, Globe and Mail, Torstar, and CityNews - have unleashed a seemingly coordinated onslaught against Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre. And wouldn't you know it, the Liberals jumped right on that bandwagon, parroting the media's narrative as if reading from the same script. It's clear they're not even attempting to hide their close ties anymore. Yet here lies the crowning jewel of irony: Trudeau's very own Bill C-18, designed to tax tech giants and fill the coffers of their media allies, spectacularly backfired. Meta's response? To block the sharing of news links from these media houses on platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Their coordinated efforts to slander Pierre Poilievre were blocked by their own ineptitude and sheer stupidity. It's almost too comical to believe. The stage was set, the players took their mark, and they promptly tripped over their own feet. Sometimes, reality truly is stranger - and funnier - than fiction. #CdnPoli

@igorsushko How can these guys have so many medals on their uniforms? The last war North Korea was in was 1950-1953. Probably get one for every parade they attend.

@charlesadler @WendyRudiger3 To be fair, the Canadians fought as Brits. There was no Canadian forces until 1945. But, ya, the world recognizes Canadians were on the beaches of France.

To British PM @RhshiSunak You're an educated person. How can you ignore your most loyal ally? Canada declared war within days of the British declaration. US waited for yrs. Thankfully Churchill was able to persuade 'em to get involved in saving the world. You owe Cdns an apology.
Rishi Sunak@RishiSunak

79 years ago, British and American soldiers were landing on the beaches of Normandy. Their cause was freedom. As on D-Day, British and American forces today continue to stand for freedom, peace and security. We honour them, and those heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice 🇬🇧🇺🇸
