@QC_Capitals Both as I’ve held both the last 5 years and they have been absolutely fantastic compounders. I will continue to own these for decades.

English

@DeepIceValue $INTC would be an easy choice based on the performance of the company. $MU -no. The company will be owned by me for a very long time. I don’t short stocks as it’s part of the gambling shenanigans

English

@OverkillTrading One place i definitely won’t take advice from is the robin hood casino on valuation as much as they push trading to make money off people.
English

Robinhood says fair value for $MU $455.
If u want to buy it after running 700% on the year that’s you. I’ve seen this play out over and over again. Everything corrects.
That’s why we invest off the data here @OverkillTrading not off of emotion or what we “think” or what someone says on the news. If an asset is overbought. WE DON’T WANT IT!!
Id say the same thing about Amazon apple Microsoft if they were trading at the same trajectory.
Our goal here is to buy good quality assets and GREAT PRICES.
Micron is a good quality asset no arguing that but right now it’s not trading at a great price. We will be patient and wait until the flush and profit taking comes.
You can buy the greatest company in the world but if you are buying it at a premium you aren’t doing it right..

@DudeWhoInvests This video is from October and his book is titled 1929. He only said a crash is coming which occurs every few years anyway not a 1929 crash or massive crash. Nobody ever defines crash but if you own good businesses, so what? You will be fine just like the ones in 2008
English

Andrew Ross Sorkin says he is 100% SURE that a 1929 type of crash is coming.
One thing I would hate is to be levered long when this happens.
Not even sure it will though. Scary to think about for sure.
Andrew Lokenauth@FluentInFinance
“A crash is coming.” Andrew Ross Sorkin says a massive crash is inevitable. He’s one of the most credible financial journalists in the world.
English

@FluentInFinance He did not say massive and nobody ever decribes what a crash is numerically. Is it 30%, 50%, etc?
English

@Mr_Derivatives People say it but nobody defines what a crash is. What exactly is a crash by percentage?
English

Andrew Ross Sorkin says a major stock market crash is coming. He is 100% sure it is. He even has a book titled 1929, lol.
However, he just doesn’t know when the crash will occur and the magnitude of the crash.
Thoughts?

@InvestingAddict I own 0 index funds and 100% individual stocks so I firmly disagree with this
English

@DeepIceValue Why do you need to rush when the company is going to be around the next 100 years anyway and their products and ecosystem is still unique.
English

Its crazy too see that out of MAG 7, only $AAPL is "patient" on AI investments..
> $AMZN is investing $200B
> $GOOG is investing $ 175-185B
> $MSFT is investing $146B
> $META is investing $125B
> $NVDA is investing $90B
> $TSLA is investing $25B
> $AAPL is investing $14B
This is going to end up as an genius or idiotic move, and only the time will tell..
English

@IndexAndForget @100kDiary @DividendDrip Actually that’s why you don’t buy nonprofitable companies. It’s just that simple. It has nothing to do with buying outstanding businesses that are both profitable and growing.
English

@ant_trading1 I own 13 businesses but it’s not a lot to manage as I don’t have to manage them.
Jensen Huang runs $NVDA, Hock Tan runs $AVGO, Andy Jassey runs $AMZN , Sundar Pichai runs $GOOGL All I have to do is just own a piece of the businesses and let them compound.
English

@DeepIceValue If the fundamentals collapse, it is no longer an outstanding business. But as Philip Fisher says “Who can say with even moderate precision what is exactly overpriced for a business with an unusually rapid growth rate”? I can tell a good business more so than it being overpriced
English

@khack14 Nah, you have to sell when its highly overvalued or fundamentals colapse
English

@InvestingAddict Don’t buy stock in businesses they aren’t profitable and whose earnings aren’t growing. Problem solved as there is a 100% correlation between earnings growth and stock price movements per Peter Lynch
English

@EconNotes_ The next $NVDA is $NVDA People just overthink it and won’t own it for 20 years.
English

You can say what you want about the U.S. (I have opinions of my own 🫣)…
but you CANNOT discount the strength and power of American companies! 👀
Which one are you invested in? Or all 3?
