I wasn’t into Enid Blyton as a child but my daughter has read a couple and has put “more Enid Blyton books” on her Christmas list.
I was thinking one of the series (Famous Five, Secret Seven, Mallory Towers etc) would be great but any recommendations as to which series a primary aged girl might enjoy most?

If you're wondering why I keep posting about this Robbie Williams film.... #BetterMan is just the first film that took me multiple days to let sink in. Humorous, self deprecating, dark, oddly relatable, full of love and honesty. And just so beautifully made!! I was already a fan, but this masterpiece just shows Robbie's character. So sorry, not sorry... just go watch it while it's still in the cinema's.

@stephpickle @BritishGas Sorry to hear that Steph but not surprised sadly. I’ve had months of problems where they claim to solve it then following bill back to square one. Made an official complaint - also hopeless. They just closed complaint without solving! I do wish you luck.

@Barblahblksheep @BritishGas @dr_senior1 Almost exactly what’s been happening to me. Was told it had been discussed and would be reimbursed once it has been through the ‘Gurus’. Some gurus they are-approx 8 wks & still nothing other than closure of complaint! @BBCMorningLive did a section about this so we’re not alone

Hi @edfenergy I’ve been trying to speak to someone to explain how my electricity bill went from £300 a month to £39,000. Your call centre has been no help but you tried to direct debit this amount today from my account

@HannahClay84 @BritishGas I am continually having this problem with @BritishGas for a very similar amount. When I phone I’m often told it’s their error but they keep putting it back on! Complaints dept are a joke. They close complaint without resolving!

@BritishGas well well I had over £600 in my account you have taken my bill money then taken a random payment of £364.63 why!!!!! Thats theft you haven’t added a link to show me what it’s for. You haven’t emailed me to tell me you’re taking that you’ve just taken it THEFT

@Barblahblksheep @BritishGas @dr_senior1 Sorry to say Barbara but I’d be amazed it if the dreadful company that is @BritishGas sort this. I am in a similar situation and despite empty promises they still haven’t sorted my complaint out. Then late this evening had email to say they have ‘closed the complaint’!

@BritishGas @dr_senior1 bill but I am NOT paying this extra amount. Apparently I’m told once again it is a mistake on their side but have been waiting >6 weeks for the ‘gurus’ to sort. Dreadful service

@BritishGasHelp @CK50171 I have raised complaints (another one raised two days ago) but when I ring AGAIN to check i’m told the complaints have been ‘closed’ I have spent hrs on the phone. On Wednesday got someone very helpful but going on previous experience I am not holding my breath! @BritishGas

@theveindoc @BritishGas I’ve had so much trouble with @BritishGas - a dreadful organisation. They cannot get my bill right and I spend hrs on the phone. Raised complaints, they just close them then send threatening emails despite the fact I’ve been told ++times the £553.58 they keep adding is wrong!
