@Tholl_6 @huskymgmt Feedback is so important to know how you're doing. I especially like it when I make mistakes. I never know I'm doing something wrong until someone tells me. Positive feedback is of course needed and makes you feel valued as an employee #HRperformance #MGMT352CH10 @huskymgmt

To manage employee performance, it's important that HR provides employees with feedback. If the employee is invested in their work, they will use the feedback to make changes and hopefully improve their performance. #HRperformance #MGMT352ch10 #scsumgmt352 #2020fall @huskymgmt

#HRperformance is important for any company. You can see how your employees are doing based on this alone. It is also a good way to build trust within your team and show others your worth. #MGMT352Ch10 @huskymgmt

@Jessica58996049 I love this. It's important to feel welcomed and part of a team. It can set a positive mindset about your new job from the beginning which can influence how you feel day to day.

#mgmt352ch7 #HRtraining I get to help lead orientation at my job. We go through policies and procedures and we show a video from our CEO welcoming them to the company. We give them a tour and introduce them to their managers. I think this process helps new hires feel excited.

I had a great training team for my job. They showed a lot of patience and realized everyone makes mistakes. I try to combine some of the mannerisms of those people into those I am training today! #HRtraining #MGMT352Ch7

There are larger issues to deal with overall than companies focusing on lifestyle discrimination. How you dress, or how many piercings you have shouldn't affect how well you do your job. #lifestylediscrimination @huskymgmt

Lifestyle discrimination has a negative effect on the workplace. Every company can have different examples of what discrimination are, so until there are firm guidelines; broad far reaching ideas and examples should be put aside. #lifestylediscrimination @huskymgmt

It was interesting learning in this chapter how the selection process works as a background aspect. It does seem like most companies follow a general guideline. #HRselection #MGMT351Ch6

@PaZongMoua1 @huskymgmt Good point! When people contact you for a job it's hard to know if it's a scam or not. I know I just always assume it's a scam to begin with. If there were ways to make a clear distinction, it would be so beneficial for those actually looking for a job. #HRrecruiting #MGMT352Ch5

#HRrecruiting #MGMT352Ch5 #fall2020 Having a brand when recruiting is a strategy to help attract more! As we move through the years and many generations after another, more people are paying attention to brand names! and job posting that looks less like a scam. @huskymgmt
