"From going through our scouting report, he was extremely engaged."
Steve Kerr claims Draymond is locked in for tomorrow's play-in game 🔒

@WorldWideWob We’ve lived in a headline only society for years. Critical thinking absent, short attention spans

As of the time of this posting, the tweet below has 1.4M views.
The two sets of free throws shown were the result of:
1) Christie wanting to stop play so he could call his use-it-or-lose-it timeout before time dropped below 3 mins.
2) Cardwell fouling Seth during a live rebound, and the Warriors being in the bonus.
McDermott, the same guy who gave the foul after being instructed, made a 3 the very next possession from a set play Christie drew up.
Hater Report@HaterReport
We have NEVER seen this level of tanking bruh Doug Christie literally instructed his players on the Kings TO FOUL SETH CURRY ON PURPOSE while up 101-100 in the 4th quarter INSANE 😭💀

@DanClarkSports I see something like this, and it makes me think of Billy Beane from the Moneyball movie where Billy was the super prospect, and ended up just fizzling out. This very much feels like the real life version of that.

@JeffPassan @jorgecastillo does this make a work stoppage more or less likely heading into '27 🤔🤔

The MLBPA is carrying a war chest more than twice the size of what it had at the same point going into the last collective-bargaining negotiations, according to federal filings. @jorgecastillo with the latest on the union's $400 million-plus in reserve: espn.com/mlb/story/_/id…

@john5609280 @KNBR Smith and Schmitt play different positions, it was never a smith or Schmitt decision, it was Schmitt or Eldridge. No guarantee smith even wanted to be back. He can math and knows he’d be odd man out when Eldridge is ready
English

@KNBR I think not keeping Dom Smith was the biggest mistake that Posey and the Giants have made so far. He can field, he can hit, he’s got a good attitude, he’s good in the clubhouse. And I’m not just saying this now. I said this last year about him.

@WorldWideWob This tweet so wild I actually read the first letter in each paragraph to see if there was a secret message

What’s sad is this was probably tweeted by some young kid who is just trying to do their job, but those last six words are the problem.
When entry level social media coordinators are instructed to highlight certain players, they have some level of discretion on the context and captions.
The default mindset is always to compliment, so the author is not responsible for the brand criticizing its own assets/gets in trouble with their boss.
But excessive caution leads to obvious pandering, which can turn an audience against the subject as quickly as slander.
The potential of something like this tweet below happening — a play that happens hundreds of times per game — and is not even close to qualifying as one of Wemby’s “nevermind”s. Now you are insulting your customers’ intelligence.
The NBA has an obligation to document its current events and package them into an easily-consumable product. It is the entertainment business after-all.
However, the continuous examples of something like this happening from their main channels suggests a reassessment of their internal storytelling methods may be necessary. This type of content does more damage to their brand than I think they realize.
NBA@NBA
A classic "NEVERMIND" forced by Wemby! Defensive impact is just nuts.

The Cleveland Indians once went over 18 years without playing a game during which they hit at least one single.
aidan #Emerson2Young@ChartTwink
Per Stathead, no MLB team since at least 1898, the earliest year for which their relevant data stretches back, has started their year without a single in their first two games. Until the 2026 Seattle Mariners.

@NBCSWarriors @MontePooleNBCS Why would they come back to this train wreck ? Don’t the warriors can afford them with their albatross contracts
English

What if the Warriors can bring Kristaps Porziņģis and De'Anthony Melton back next season?
Their combined 57 points tonight stirred fanciful visions throughout the forlorn avenues of Dub Nation, @MontePooleNBCS writes

@DeseretStone Is that in another ‘interview’? I don’t see her referencing those motives in this

The dominant academic and cultural institutions taught this woman that religion, marriage, and family would “trap” her and make her feel bad
She was taught to eschew such things to be “free”
Witness her freedom

@askagain_ornot @DeseretStone This is silly. They are labeled anti fascists, not fascists /s
English

@DeseretStone This is a dangerous game they're playing. They think that they are denigrating the family when they are really elevating fascism.
English

@JWhitebread1 @actsofapostles_ @JS_StrngstSldr I’ve always felt the same. We know that the adversary creates counterfeits to heavenly things. It’s obvious that gods ceremonies predate masonry

This objection always floors me. The vast majority of masonic symbols and rituals are themselves cobbled from earlier trade guild initiations that were themselves cobbled together from Christian monastic rites about taking on orders and vestments. Heck, THREE of the covenants in our temple rituals, obedience, chastity and the law of consecration, are nearly identical to the orders taken on by most monks and nuns. So they are object to the parts of Mormonism that are in fact, the most CATHOLIC. It's so weird.

Progs and ExMos love to hate the Church’s welfare system because it requires that beneficiaries:
1) Seek and do whatever work they can get;
2) Stop making bad financial and personal decisions; and
3) Learn to give back (tithe)
But it is obvious that these are the only things that *actually work* if you want to *actually help* people get out of poverty and become reasonably self-sufficient!
And when people actually adopt this and make it a fundamental part of their culture, you get a state with the lowest child poverty, lowest government welfare use, and lowest GINI coefficient in the nation!
None of this should be surprising!
Insisting that people do just the minimum works!
BART@SFBART
@maxdubler And there are other real benefits such as fewer corrective maintenance requests and time spent cleaning and fixing things.
English

@JoeVirayNBA It won't. I don't think the Warriors get Giannis, and I don't think they have a secondary trade that moves Draymond for front court help.
