He thinks they fouled Steph Curry and not Seth Curry until well into the segment, and it was "in addition" to Steph. None of the producers corrected him. What is happening? This video from OP has completely broken people's brains.

As of the time of this posting, the tweet below has 1.4M views. The two sets of free throws shown were the result of: 1) Christie wanting to stop play so he could call his use-it-or-lose-it timeout before time dropped below 3 mins. 2) Cardwell fouling Seth during a live rebound, and the Warriors being in the bonus. McDermott, the same guy who gave the foul after being instructed, made a 3 the very next possession from a set play Christie drew up.
Hater Report@HaterReport

We have NEVER seen this level of tanking bruh Doug Christie literally instructed his players on the Kings TO FOUL SETH CURRY ON PURPOSE while up 101-100 in the 4th quarter INSANE 😭💀

@DanClarkSports I see something like this, and it makes me think of Billy Beane from the Moneyball movie where Billy was the super prospect, and ended up just fizzling out. This very much feels like the real life version of that.

The MLBPA is carrying a war chest more than twice the size of what it had at the same point going into the last collective-bargaining negotiations, according to federal filings. @jorgecastillo with the latest on the union's $400 million-plus in reserve: espn.com/mlb/story/_/id…

@john5609280 @KNBR Smith and Schmitt play different positions, it was never a smith or Schmitt decision, it was Schmitt or Eldridge. No guarantee smith even wanted to be back. He can math and knows he’d be odd man out when Eldridge is ready

@KNBR I think not keeping Dom Smith was the biggest mistake that Posey and the Giants have made so far. He can field, he can hit, he’s got a good attitude, he’s good in the clubhouse. And I’m not just saying this now. I said this last year about him.

What’s sad is this was probably tweeted by some young kid who is just trying to do their job, but those last six words are the problem. When entry level social media coordinators are instructed to highlight certain players, they have some level of discretion on the context and captions. The default mindset is always to compliment, so the author is not responsible for the brand criticizing its own assets/gets in trouble with their boss. But excessive caution leads to obvious pandering, which can turn an audience against the subject as quickly as slander. The potential of something like this tweet below happening — a play that happens hundreds of times per game — and is not even close to qualifying as one of Wemby’s “nevermind”s. Now you are insulting your customers’ intelligence. The NBA has an obligation to document its current events and package them into an easily-consumable product. It is the entertainment business after-all. However, the continuous examples of something like this happening from their main channels suggests a reassessment of their internal storytelling methods may be necessary. This type of content does more damage to their brand than I think they realize.

A classic "NEVERMIND" forced by Wemby! Defensive impact is just nuts.

7 years ago one of the craziest endings to a basketball game happened -Wolves go up 9 in OT -KD ties the game, refs call a foul on the floor, no basket -Steph ties the game again with a super tough corner 3 -A foul is called with 0.5 seconds remaining -Warriors lose by KAT's ft

This objection always floors me. The vast majority of masonic symbols and rituals are themselves cobbled from earlier trade guild initiations that were themselves cobbled together from Christian monastic rites about taking on orders and vestments. Heck, THREE of the covenants in our temple rituals, obedience, chastity and the law of consecration, are nearly identical to the orders taken on by most monks and nuns. So they are object to the parts of Mormonism that are in fact, the most CATHOLIC. It's so weird.

Progs and ExMos love to hate the Church’s welfare system because it requires that beneficiaries: 1) Seek and do whatever work they can get; 2) Stop making bad financial and personal decisions; and 3) Learn to give back (tithe) But it is obvious that these are the only things that *actually work* if you want to *actually help* people get out of poverty and become reasonably self-sufficient! And when people actually adopt this and make it a fundamental part of their culture, you get a state with the lowest child poverty, lowest government welfare use, and lowest GINI coefficient in the nation! None of this should be surprising! Insisting that people do just the minimum works!
