Perplexity Labs is seriously good. I'm working on assertiveness with my therapist Dr Karen Wright (PhD, MA, PGDip (CBT), PGCert (PD), PGCE, BSc(Hons), RGN, RMN, RNT, FHEA) @perplexity_ai provided a detailed and thorough workflow for me sourced on four worksheets that she provided me + additional sources resources from the net. Incredible. (Only first 4 pages provided out of 13) @AravSrinivas

@paullewismoney Why not live at home & pay a full time carer £75k a year? You’d get someone for that money surely.

There are two solutions to the nursing home crisis. Make them state owned and free like the rest of the NHS or be glad that people are using their lifetime wealth to pay for comfort in their final years - life expectancy in a home is about 2.5yrs bit.ly/3PhRziG

We are disappointed that the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill has passed its latest stage in Parliament. We continue to argue that vulnerable people need protection, and for high quality palliative care for all who need it. #AssistedDyingBill

@AliceAnneFaith @kmwright1 I think that was part of when people started to realise I wasn’t ok - when Trump got back in & I failed to rant for several hours about it to them!

23 weeks since Simon died. No one told me how much *work* there is in grief. I’ve been very open throughout this journey, for the 8 months since his cancer diagnosis, in the hope it might help some people & as a way of seeking support, but this is a harder thread🧵 I’m so tired.

@CharleyBaker1 @kmwright1 As much as there’s a need for self compassion, make room for the world-fuck-you as well. Get angry if you need to. Be furious at how shitty the situation is. Just do it in a safe space. It doesn’t all have to be gentle mindfulness.

#Suicideprevention v #AssistedDying The debate hasn’t acknowledged enough the line AD crosses on society’s fundamental values: preserving life, protecting those most vulnerable. Where does that leave those facing other kinds of despair? Where does it leave mental health care?
