That’s because Columbus’s size is due solely to the aggressive annexation policies of Columbus mayors from the 40s to the 70s. As unincorporated suburbs sprung up outside city limits, they required water access, and Columbus said if you want city water, you have to join the city.
Thanks to this, Columbus gets to have bragging rights about being the “largest city in Ohio,” but at the cost of having terrible city borders, and, as the attached Reddit comment will attest, having large parts of the city that aren’t truly integrated into it — lacking sidewalks, streetlights, etc. because the city decided it was too much effort to install those things after annexing so much land.

A 2022 leaked UN report suggested the real figure was roughly double the official estimate, and the prime minister himself has publicly described his country's population as "17 million, or 13 million, or 10 million."

You know what’s the closest country to Israel in population? Papua New Guinea. Not joking. Nearly identical number of people. Imagine if our entire foreign policy was structured around Papua New Guinea. If there were people who were Papua New Guinea First all over Congress and media. And we had given Papua New Guinea over $300 billion and people were saying it wasn’t enough! That we had spent $8 trillion on wars supporting Papua New Guinea and people said we needed one more war for them! And if you ever criticized our ludicrous support for Papua New Guinea, everyone in media would call you an anti-Papua New Guineaist and said no one should ever talk to you again. Great example of why the Democratic Party needs to needs to be de-Judaified. Republican Bible-thumpers are in total command, but as Jewish Democrats support the designed to fail war against Iran and perceive Republicans as more “pro-Israel” and “pro-Jewish,” they erase that.

Decoupling the GOP from Bible-thumping was a huge mistake. They replaced all their social opinions with culture war nonsense that comes to the same conclusions, but now also embrace overt cruelty, nihilism, lying, and crime much more so than they ever did before when they were pretending to be good Christians. People like the Bushes and Romney had at least a modicum of concern for the wellbeing of Americans and reputation of America, but Trump doesn't care about any of that and never has.
