ADG PI - INDIAN ARMY@adgpi

#GeneralUpendraDwivedi, #COAS visited NewSpace Research & Technologies, where he was briefed on the organisation’s indigenous capabilities in unmanned and high-altitude systems. The interaction highlighted advancements in swarm drone technologies and ISR capabilities, critical for ensuring persistent surveillance and robust communication support in harsh operational environments. The visit reaffirmed the Indian Army’s focus on harnessing indigenous innovation to enhance situational awareness, enable high-altitude operations and accelerate the integration of autonomous systems. #YearofNetworkingAndDataCentricity #DecadeofTransformation @DefenceMinIndia @SpokespersonMoD @IaSouthern

🚨 NEWS FROM NASA In a bold and decisive move, NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman just announced a $20 billion plan to build America’s permanent base on the Moon — and they’re doing it in just 7 years. Today, NASA officially confirmed it is cancelling plans for the Lunar Gateway — the small space station that was supposed to orbit the Moon as a waypoint for astronauts. Instead, those components and resources will be repurposed directly for the surface base, accelerating humanity’s return to sustained lunar presence. The goal is clear — move beyond short visits and flags-and-footprints missions. NASA wants a real, long-term foothold on the Moon: habitats, power systems, rovers, scientific labs, and infrastructure that can support crews for months at a time. This base will serve as the foundation for deeper space exploration, resource utilization (like mining lunar ice for fuel and water), and eventually — Mars. The $20 billion investment over the next seven years will reshape major parts of the Artemis program. It comes with real urgency too — China is pushing hard toward its own crewed Moon landing by 2030, and the U.S. is determined to lead, not follow. This isn’t just about science. · A permanent lunar base means:Testing technologies for Mars missions in a real off-world environment · Developing in-situ resource utilization (turning Moon dirt into rocket fuel and oxygen) · Opening the door to a true cislunar economy · Inspiring the next generation of engineers, scientists, and explorers Private industry will play a massive role, as always — with contractors already building key hardware now being redirected. This is the kind of ambitious, focused leadership the space program has needed. From the first boots on the Moon in 1969 to building a thriving outpost there by the early 2030s — what an incredible leap forward. Significanly, the Moon isn’t just a destination anymore: it’s becoming home base for humanity’s expansion into the Solar System.

What makes these drones interesting is they could conceivably make it so if the enemy fires on the drone, the drone can just out maneuver the missile cause it doesn't have to worry about the G-forces. It just has to worry about the structural integrity of itself and then basically redirect the missile that the bad guy fired upon right back onto itself by continue having the drone being chased by the missile right back to the original launching point and end up killing the enemy that way. That's what makes the drone so interesting. Just a thought. And then you can actually take those drones and along with the shield that is being built just have the drones go up and intercept the ICBMs or whatever and then you effectively have neutralized any nuclear warheads coming at the United States. They're gonna take them 30 to 40 minutes to get here. Conventional ICBMs. Now, hypersonic missiles, that's another story and I'm sure we'll have a counter to that eventually.

The Credo of the National Defence Academy that's embedded deep in the mind and the heart - सेवा परमो धर्म 🙏🙏 Thank you @Spearcorps
SpearCorps.IndianArmy@Spearcorps

"Service Before Self – A Living Inspiration" #IndianArmy, “Service Before Self” is not just a motto, but a way of life. A true example of this is Lt Col (Retd) L. Manongba, who has given new hope to families in #Manipur. He helped 35 widows start small businesses and took responsibility for the education of 60 children. His efforts prove that even after taking off the uniform, a soldier never stops serving the nation. In recognition of his selfless service, during the Army Day Parade in Pune, Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi honored him with the 'Veteran Achiever Award'. Lt Col Manongba’s work is not just an inspiration for #Manipur, but for the entire nation. It reflects the true strength of the #IndianArmy and its motto. @adgpi @easterncomd @prodefkohima Facebook-facebook.com/share/v/1F81PF… Instagram-instagram.com/reel/DOQvIhrif…
