@GadSaad Prayer isn't a vending machine. Prayers aren't about getting what you want from God. Not every request is granted. Prayer is about communication with and Worship of God. It is the means we use to build our connection with God. We over focus on requests and forget relationship.

People get so riled up whenever you politely ask about anything related to their religiosity. Take for example two teams each of which pray to their God prior to the game. Team A wins; Team B loses. Both prayed to the same God. Team A places all of their gratitude in God having answered their prayers and allowed it to happen. Hence, is it not fair to ask why He decided to not let Team B win. Does God choose winning teams? Don't emote. Don't get unhinged. Provide a reasoned rebuttal. I'm listening.

You know what’s screwed up? (Other than this entire horrendous debacle) - the murder suspect is 22 years old. I have absolutely no sympathy for him. Absolutely none. Erika is an absolute gem, Charlie’s children are now fatherless. The evil surrounding this event is palpable. However there is a bigger problem here. The ideology that encompasses people that most definitely influenced that 22 year old to murder Charlie for just having conversations. Christian, reasonable conversations. It’s evil. That ideology I have NO sympathy for anymore. A week ago I had a bit of understanding and compassion for people who were brainwashed into thinking trans ideology and communist, socialist, anti-capitalism Marxist ideology was reasonable. A bit of understanding. It’s gone. I have no understanding for those people anymore. If a man dressed as a woman gets in my face again and gets aggressive (and it’s happened before) I’m going to get violent. A line has been crossed and I feel like this is what leads to civil war. None of this is remotely okay and clearly trying to convince people and having compassion for misunderstanding isn’t working. And I’m leaning on Jesus as much as I can but enough is enough. Does anyone else feel the same way? Because generally I think I am more forgiving for other ways of thinking than the average person but I’m done. I’m done with anti-semitism, anything pro-Islamic pretending that that doesn’t subjugate women, anti-Christian, pro-Marxism, pro-trans. Done.

I don’t think there’s any real way to avoid restructuring. And the best time to do it is now, rather than when a majority of homeowners have made purchases at higher levels. Many, including my wife and I, can afford a drop, even a significant one.…1/

I'm not really sure what Trump is hoping to gain in the short-term because this will be counterproductive to an affordability agenda in the US

@jackinyoinbox @5Solas2 The bible doesn't teach it, the early church didn't either. The Marian doctrines didn't solidify until centuries after the apostles. They are accretions built up over centuries. Mary was blessed to be the mother of the Christ that is what is in the Bible and early church taught.

I don't think anyone is an EXCEPTIONAL model of faith but Jesus. But I'm glad the post recognizes that Mary is on the same level as Abraham and David. Just a sinful human who has faith in an amazing God. Nothing is wrong with acknowledging the faith of Mary. It is wrong to go beyond that and say she's sinless or some of the other stuff Papists do.

Canada will never be the 51st state. Period. We are a great and independent country. We are the best friend to the U.S. We spent billions of dollars and hundreds of lives helping Americans retaliate against Al-Qaeda’s 9/11 attacks. We supply the U.S. with billions of dollars of high-quality and totally reliable energy well below market prices. We buy hundreds of billions of dollars of American goods. Our weak and pathetic NDP-Liberal government has failed to make these obvious points. I will fight for Canada. When I am Prime Minister, we will rebuild our military and take back control of the border to secure both Canada and the U.S. We will take back control of our Arctic to keep Russia and China out. We will axe taxes, slash red tape and rapidly green-light massive resource projects to bring home paycheques and production to our country. In other words, we will put Canada First.
