I love how women are slowly phasing out the “bra”. No one knows their bra size anymore, we’re all wearing sports bras, bralettes or going braless and it’s amazing.

Spotify needs to release a “kids” setting so I can play all the songs my kids listen to without it affecting my own Discovery algorithm. Insane that I can’t do this already. My Discover Weekly is just nursery songs and Moana. @Spotify please fix this.

Please don’t get discouraged if you see You, Me and Tuscany’s box office numbers. Critics and journalists are going to try to distract us, and we can’t let them get in our head. It did better than Anyone but You first weekend. Continue to talk about the film online, continue to show up and let’s continue to have fun.

@Spanish_Techno A universal truth: there is always one spouse who likes duvets and one who doesn't. I literally had this exact conversation when I was married. She was all, "But with a duvet, you only have to wash the cover" and I was all "HOW IS THAT LESS WORK THAN JUST WASHING A BLANKET ?"

My wife tricked me into getting a duvet again. I was like, “I don’t want one, I hated when we had to shove the comforter in there last time, it was horrible.” So she was like, “oh, I’ll do it myself.” So I said, “alright, fine.” Then the day it comes in, I hear, “baaaaabe, I need your help!” from the bedroom. I will not be fooled in the future!!!

I just find it funny how some of you are acting like I’m overreacting for saying World Cup prices are unreasonable, like “that’s just capitalism, deal with it.” The reality is FIFA made decisions that led directly to this. Yes, a lot of these insane prices are resale, but notice how in past World Cups you NEVER saw group stage tickets hitting $10K. There’s a reason for that. Before, resale was tightly controlled through FIFA’s official platform and prices were basically capped at face value, so people couldn’t just flip tickets for whatever they wanted. Now, that control isn’t there in the same way. FIFA even allows resale above face value depending on demand, and tickets are still ending up on third-party sites like StubHub and SeatGeek where prices are driven purely by demand with no real limits. So no, this isn’t just “that’s how it is.” It’s the result of FIFA loosening control and creating a system where resale prices can explode. That’s why you’re seeing $10K group stage tickets now when that literally never happened before. FIFA absolutely deserves blame for this. Stop trying to normalize prices like this.
Lia@liabinkin

It is honestly so disappointing to see what FIFA has done with this World Cup. I knew prices were going to be high, but not unjustifiably high like they are now. I, like many others, was excited for the chance to witness a World Cup in person. But that dream is gone because I simply cannot justify spending hundreds of dollars on tickets, and that is not even including the extremely high cost of parking and everything else around it. The beauty of football is how accessible it is. It is a sport that connects people from all backgrounds. The World Cup was always meant to celebrate the game, bring different cultures together, and unite fans across the world. Seeing reports of tickets being priced as high as $10,000 for a group stage game completely goes against that idea. I do not understand how FIFA can justify this, but at the same time it is not surprising. Saying that prices are high because Americans are used to paying premium prices is one of the worst excuses I have heard. Many Americans are already working multiple jobs just to live comfortably. If people in the host country cannot even afford to attend, how can these prices be considered reasonable. It also completely ignores international fans. The World Cup is supposed to be global, yet these prices make it nearly impossible for many fans traveling from other countries to be there. That takes away from the atmosphere and what makes the tournament special. At this point, it feels like the sport is being over commercialized to the point where it is becoming inaccessible. The identity of football is being lost. The people who truly love and support the game are being pushed out, and instead the experience is being reserved for those who can simply afford it. That is not what the World Cup is supposed to represent. @FIFAcom @FIFAWorldCup DO BETTER

@maiab When I did the egg hunts for our family I ended up making it color coded so each kid got some cool stuff instead of just the older (and often ruder) kids. Each kid assigned a color to find. I could also tailor the gifts to age and interests. I like this idea too.

we went to an unusual Easter egg hunt today. it was ongoing - no dedicated start time. there were a TON of eggs grouped around. every kid could start whenever they wanted and get as many eggs as they could find and fit in their basket. all of the eggs were empty. when you were done, you “traded” all of your eggs for a little cellophane bag of candy. (and then the event throwers would just toss all of your eggs back in the field 😂)
