The empire (the EPP political machine) truly struck back. Five years after Fidesz left the EPP in 2021, they retook Hungary.
Magyar became an MEP in 2024 and joined the EPP, this gave him immunity and made him a direct colleague to Weber and VdL. Thus Orban could not arrest him on trumped up charges, it would have instantly made Orbans government a pariah.
The EPP branding also gave Magyar and Tisza institutional credibility and support.
Ironically Orban would probably still be in power if he just continued to toe the EPP line in crucial votes.

kind of hilarious this Obama Bro is calling the Iran Deal a “treaty” since one of **the biggest** elements of the debate at the time was the Obama Admin’s **insistence** that it was **not** a treaty & therefore didn’t need a 2/3 Senate ratification (which it wouldn’t have gotten)

This is the dumbest of many dumb talking points. Treaties expire so you renegotiate. That’s diplomacy. Arms control agreements with Russia were iterative & renegotiated many times. The alternative is what’s happening now—a catastrophic war pushed by chickenhawks neocons like Mark

Pakistan is required to help defend saudi arabia otherwise they have to immediately pay back over six billion dollars according to the agreement.
Also Pakistan is Sunni not Shia. Although they have such an extraordinarily high mental retardation rate because of inbreeding and they have to be reminded of their obligations all the time.
