@pvsubramanyam @TataCompanies @Suhelseth Do not agree, the recent incident clearly exposed the company on lack of compliance to POSH act - which is serious enough for the Government to intervene and act, they will surely need to explain such serious lapses.

Don't make fun of @TataCompanies - it is India's most reputed group. @Suhelseth will totally agree with this. One small aberration in one small office can't take away the great work they do in the world.

@mumbaimatterz @mybmc All white and Yello markings are first of all uneven, not straight and fades within a few days, if not smeared by vehicles before it dries off. It’s sad that @mybmc cannot get even the basics of road infrastructure when there are good lane marking technologies available.

@RoadsOfMumbai @AshwiniVaishnaw Aghast to see the absolute lack of safety culture followed by WR. This should not be the standard to be followed if we aspire to be ViksitBharat. Infact such standards are not even practiced in 3rd world.

Dearest Railway Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw ji & @RailwaySeva @RailMinIndia Team, I have posted this in the past. I am asking again and again. This is very very important & needs immediate attention. Why should a RAC passenger bear full charge for 50% of a side lower seat? Isn't it unfair? Once the chart is prepared, Railways must refund 50% of the fare with interest for RAC passengers. The same source of payment can be used for the refund. Pls implement this immediately. I continue to see many ladies and senior citizens who travel by RAC, without sleep and they pay full charge. This is so unfair. If any of you reading this feel that this should be implemented immediately, comment with your thoughts and share until Railways makes it a fair deal for passengers. This is long long overdue. I hope at-least this time it is considered and implemented. On behalf of Indian Passengers, #FI

@divya_gandotra This clearly shows how far are we from becoming “Viksit”. We see how elected representatives abroad travel by public transport (buses/trams/metro) or even by bicycle without security whereas in India elected members try to show their power in number of security guards. @PMOIndia

VIP movement in India isn’t about security anymore, it’s about power display. Every time roads are blocked: > Ambulances are delayed > Students miss exams > Daily wage workers lose income > Common citizens are treated like obstacles And for what? So a politician can pass without “inconvenience”. This is not democracy. This is a colonial hangover. We keep talking about “public servants”, but look at the reality: Thousands of police personnel deployed, entire routes cleared, traffic frozen… just for one convoy. Meanwhile, the same police stations remain understaffed when YOU need help. Even from a security perspective, these long VIP convoys: > Attract attention > Make movement predictable > Increase risk rather than reduce it Globally, leaders move discreetly. In India, we create a spectacle. The real damage? > It builds anger. > It creates distance between people and leadership. > It sends one clear message: some lives matter more than others. Security is important, but harassment of millions is not security. India doesn’t need VIP culture. India needs accountability, equality, and leaders who can stand in the same traffic as their people. Ban unnecessary VIP movement. Reform the rest.

@mybmcWardPS @Ajinkya_027 @mybmc Thank you for addressing this basic requirement. Did it require someone to complain this for such a basic requirement ? Isn’t it the daily / routine job of staff at @mybmc ?

@Ajinkya_027 @mybmc Those who run @mybmc don’t seems to know who the footpaths are meant for or how to make footpaths accessible to pedestrians. The purpose of footpaths is lost on them @MCGM_BMC

@divya_gandotra There is absolutely no accountability related to public spaces including parks, this is a big issue. It’s left to the whims and fancies of the contractors / supervisors appointed by the Municipalities

Seeing parks in the Netherlands being deep-cleaned for kids is a reminder of how far we have to go. Forget sand cleaning in India, just having a park that is free of garbage, safe from stray animals, and has maintained equipment would be a massive milestone. Why have we accepted "basics" as "luxury"? Public spaces are the lungs of a city. We need: > Strict Waste Management: Routine, automated cleaning of public play areas. > Accountable Maintenance: Transparent budgets for neighborhood parks. > Safety First: Ensuring child-friendly, hygienic environments isn't a privilege, it's a right. It’s time we demand a higher standard for our public infrastructure. 🇮🇳

@VishalBhargava5 It appears that some businessman has managed to pull a fast one on BMC through marketing gimmick !! BMC/MMRDA could have simply asked BEST to introduce new shuttle services at regular frequency within BKC !

Ladies and gentlemen: India’s most moronic infrastructure project is happening. The pod-taxi in Mumbai - from Kurla to BKC. ₹1000 cr project. Service of 8.85km. Fare per passenger: ₹21/km. We need to rid ourselves of the delusion that it has anything to do with infrastructure

@mumbaimatterz @mybmc @mydotapency The BMC vehicles are an eyesore, should a garbage truck look so ugly ? Can’t they be well maintained by the responsible contractor ? Also less said about the drivers & their driving habits the better. Are they licensed & trained - doesn’t appear so ?

@mumbaimatterz It’s not clear what does @mybmc mean by Action taken, as I see the hawkers back in action or continue their hawking without any hindrance on LBS road, Ghatkopar/Vikhrol (W) @mybmcWardN

@mumbaimatterz Hope to see more such enforcement from @MTPHereToHelp through fines to the violators. This will keep drivers disciplined, our roads safer and traffic organised.

@RoadsOfMumbai Why can’t RTO cancel licenses of the drivers & taxi if licensed drivers refuse to ply the very taxi which he is licensed to operate ? They are also given 5 prime parking locations in every streets.

@mumbaimatterz @mybmc @MNCDFbombay Like in many other countries, @mybmcInfra should open flea markets at multiple places in Mumbai for authorised hawkers to sell products legally - at a fee. But let the footpaths be left alone for use of poor pedestrians.
