This is one of the most heartbreaking videos I have ever seen. Even the civilian, the human being, who was wounded but survived the first strike, who tried to crawl, was eventually killed in a second strike. This was two years from today, just five months into Israel’s ongoing genocidal campaign against the Palestinians in Gaza. If you support this, you are as cruel as the perpetrators of these crimes. Enemy of civilization

On the anniversary of the passing of Sheikh Yassin, I am sharing my translation of one of the last interviews that Yassin conducted, which he regarded as his "most important" interview. It was conducted with a young Palestinian journalist, Bilal Abu Daqa. The interview includes a number of topics that are all still relevant today, including the relationship between the resistance and the PA/Abu Mazen, the viability of resistance, Egypt's reception of aid from the US, and resistance's approach to a long-term truce (hudna). It is also notable that the interviewer mentions a joint effort between Hamas and Hizbu’llah to negotiate a prisoner’s release. This culminated in the 29 January 2004 prisoner exchange, where Hizbu’llah secured the release of 400 Palestinian prisoners along with 23 Lebanese and other detainees in exchange for Elhanan Tannenbaum and the bodies of three occupation soldiers. Interview Excerpt: "Bilal Abu Daqa: They say that halting resistance operations and armed resistance serves the [Israeli] left, which can then move toward the path of peace: What is your opinion on these statements? Yassin: It is true that the Zionists classify themselves as right-wing and left-wing. But we view them all the same. There is no left or right in Israel. They all hold extremist views. For example, if you were to ask any official on the far-left in Israel about his stance on Jerusalem, he would answer that he cannot give it up. They are two sides of the same coin. [...] Bilal Abu Daqa: Analysts believe that Egypt is the country in the region that receives the most U.S. aid after Israel, and it is now under pressure from Washington to de-escalate the conflict in the Middle East at a time when a conflict is erupting in Iraq; is Cairo actually pressuring you to grant a new truce? Yassin: I want to clarify something here that is of the utmost importance: any solution to the Palestinian issue that is being offered at this time is not in the interest of the Palestinian people. For the stronger side is the one imposing its conditions on the weaker side. As for Egypt, it is true that it receives U.S. aid, and this is to keep it out of the military arena. Its absence from the military field has weakened Arab strength in the face of the enemy, which is why the Americans continue to provide aid to Egypt. As for Egypt’s consultative role with us, it consists of offering advice. For example, they tell us, “This is better,” and we listen to them and engage in dialogue without them exerting any pressure on us. We respect their viewpoint and they respect ours, and we do not interfere in their internal affairs, nor do they interfere in ours. Bilal Abu Daqa: What would you do if you were offered a long-term truce on your terms? How long would this truce last? Yassin: If that were the case, this truce would not be long-term [all at once]. We would initially grant a three-month truce, and if the enemy adheres to its terms, we would renew it for another three months. We would continue in this manner as long as the enemy adheres to our terms. Otherwise, we would withdraw from any truce that does not guarantee our rights or meet our conditions. We will not grant the enemy a long-term truce; we do not want them to be free from the consequences of the resistance, which has broken their back at the expense of the oppression faced by our people."

Amir-Saeid Iravani, Iran's permanent representative to the United Nations: Attacks on Iran have been launched several times from Jordanian territory and airspace. The American and foreign presence in Jordan will become a target of intense fire, similar to the situation in the Gulf, during the next phase, after the focus was previously on radars and long-range air defenses to open the path towards the Zionist state. Iravani detailed that fighter jets stationed at Jordan's Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, including F-15, F-16, and F-35 aircraft,

This is outrageous. Speaker Johnson must bring the West Bank Violence Prevention Act to the floor immediately. Trump should have never rescinded the Biden era sanctions on settlers. Now we’re seeing the poisonous fruit of that decision. This violence is anti-democratic and unacceptable. The Israeli government must hold those responsible accountable, as the rule of law requires.

Yes "we" should pay the consequences. For the first time in the history of US/Western global domination, people in the imperial core will experience a fraction of what this rotten system does to its victims. Who should pay the consequences? Just the Iranians?
Pedro Sánchez@sanchezcastejon

The Government of Spain demands the opening of Hormuz and the preservation of all the energy sites of the Middle East. We stand at a global tipping point. Further escalation could trigger a long-term energy crisis for all humanity. The world should not pay the consequences of this war.

Another military factory set on fire in the Czech Republic A factory in the Czech Republic belonging to the Ukrainian company Archer, which produces thermal imaging devices for the Ukrainian army, has been set on fire. CEO Alexander Yaremenko said that masked individuals carried out the attack during the night. According to Czech news, the warehouse was destroyed, and the fire spread to a nearby administrative building. A group calling itself the "Earthquake Faction" claimed responsibility, citing links to weapons production for Israel. The same group had already set fire to an Elbit Systems facility a few days ago.
