A family friend bought GLOW for $170 at the gym. It came back reconstituted. I checked the website, which says it is third-party tested with COA available through email. Once emailed, I received this. It seems fishy, misleading soccer moms quite literally.

I do think Instagram and especially tiktok are where a lot of the people making stupid mistakes with RUO products are at. I'd say that big accounts on either platform create additional long term liability for the industry. It's only a matter of time before someone poisons themselves because of what they saw on tiktok.

REDMOND Re-Lyte. I used to do a lot of multiple day water fasts and tried several electrolyte powders. Re-lyte does it right. I really like how they use Magnesium Glycinate in their mix, most electrolyte companies don't care enough to add this. They'll usually just mix in Citrate or Malate to save on cost. Not the best tasting but it's a no BS mix.

🩸 Got my 90 day bloodwork back from my Phase 3 retatrutide trial. I have no idea how to read bloodwork lol Only been 90 days so I’m not expecting anything crazy. Context: 8 weeks at 2mg and 4 weeks at 4mg in between these tests So I got ChatGPT to compare my baseline labs from April to where I'm at now. If anyone here knows bloodwork better than I do, I'd genuinely love another set of eyes. 🩸 Biggest win HbA1c 5.7 → 5.5 ✅ This one made me smile. Started out in the prediabetic range and now it's back into normal. 🫀 Liver ALT: 24 → 39 AST: 19 → 22 GGT: 27 → 27 Bilirubin: 9.1 → 7.2 Everything is still in the normal range. 💧 Kidneys Creatinine: 106 → 88 ✅ This one surprised me. I lift 4x a week so I figured it'd go the other way. BUN: 5.0 → 5.0 Estimated GFR: 124 → 112 Still well into the normal range. Urine looked good too. No protein. No albumin leakage. ⚡ Electrolytes Sodium: 137 → 141 Potassium: 4.2 → 4.4 Magnesium: 0.90 → 0.90 Calcium: 2.48 → 2.42 Everything pretty much stayed where you'd want it. 🩸 Blood counts Hemoglobin: 154 → 146 RBC: 5.48 → 5.21 WBC: 6.5 → 5.1 Platelets: 187 → 169 Nothing really jumped out here. 🧬 Pancreas Amylase: 40 → 41 Lipase: 28 → 33 Both still normal, which was nice to see. 👀 Things I'll keep an eye on CPK: 159 → 217 Just over the reference range. From what I've been told, that's pretty common if you've been lifting. Bicarbonate: 25 → 19 Anion Gap: 12 → 18 Apparently those can happen from things like hard training, dehydration, calorie restriction or burning a lot of fat. I'll definitely be watching those at my next blood draw. Overall I'm pretty happy with this. Seeing the bloodwork moving in the right direction is a whole different kind of motivation. If anyone here knows bloodwork better than I do and notices something I missed, let me know. Always trying to learn.

I dread the day a lawmaker picks up the anti peptide agenda. It'll likely create a snowball effect. It'll impact cost and availability especially for RUO products. It's unfortunate that there are now so many people without common sense just injecting. "The dangers of peptide" stories are around the corner, especially with it being midterm season.

I know where he’s going, but I wish he would articulate why it is concerning instead of just scaremongering. GLP1s have are less risky than NSAIDS. A jaded person might into it that the reason it’s concerning is because they didn’t pay the appropriate doctor tax.
