Another question to hivemind. @Ryanair claims Italy only accepts PCR test for UK arrivals. But Italian AND UK gov't sites say either PCR or antigen are acceptable. Has anyone tried flying Ryanair to Italy with an antigen test recently?

@reider @Ryanair I have a flight to Italy on Monday, got the same PCR email and various conversations with Ryanair customer service telling me to follow ‘government guidelines’ (but never realy admitting the email was wrong). So hopefully antigen will be fine

@Ryanair @askryanair why is Ryanair providing incorrect information to travellers flying from the UK to Italy? The current guidance for UK travellers is either a PCR within 48 hours or an LFT within 24 hours.

Hi @askryanair - you just sent incorrect information about test requirement to Italy for my flight on Monday. 24hrs antigen also accepted (@ItalyinUK can confirm). Can you fix please? It’s impossible to get through to customer service..
