Gemini 3.5 Flash is genuinely impressive. But it is still leagues behind GPT 5.5. Even GPT 5.5 medium beats it on intelligence and is cheaper to run. I don’t think OpenAI drops GPT 5.6 this Thursday. They are still comfortably in the lead.

@haider1 Gemini 3 Flash is likely 3.1 internally. It uses distillation techniques missing from 3 Pro that were likely added to 3.1 Pro. The next release should be 3.5 Flash.

google will likely release gemini 3.1 flash before the google i/o and then hopefully gemini 3.5 pro on may 20, followed by gemini 3.5 flash around mid-june or early july they probably don't want too much contrast between 3.0 flash and 3.5 pro, so a 3.1 flash release first makes more sense

It seems like the rollout of FSD v14.3.2 was stopped. In my opinion this was due to the disengagement feedback screen implementation. The biggest issue was the inclusion of and OTHER option and no inclusion of a NAVIGATION option. The screen currently does not time-out and go away unless a button is selected, and until a button is selected the map page is covered up. I don't think any screen feedback option should cover up the entire map screen ever, and without a timeout? This was confusing to me. This should be an easy thing to tweak, and @yunta_tsai did respond "noted" to a post about this too. I expect we will have a new version out very soon. @Tesla_AI
