@Bennimak1 Not everyone has the luxury of living in a city with a vibrant queer scene. Munich has an entire city district where there's lots of queer cafés, social meeting points and clubs, but that's not something you'll find in every city.

I love when people invent stuff that already exists because they don't leave their house
Gay Frog 🏳️⚧️@DemonessChara
this would make meeting people in the community a lot easier tbh
English

@Mkschizo2 @SussexHenryVIII Imagine spouting all this hateful stuff and thinking you hold any Christian values. Jesus would spit in your face lol
English

@SussexHenryVIII It's amazing how fags will chose sodomy over faith, over family, over life itself.
Nothing is more important to them than getting their asses blasted.
Truly a sick group.

A guy I went to college with came out and his parents immediately cut him off, told him to never come home. He struggled but made it through school...
Years later when they were kicked out of their church due to his father's long standing alcoholism (you can't make this shit up) they came back. Told him he could come home as long as he "forgot" about the last few years. They were shocked when he told them to kick sand.

“I don’t want to take care of my parents”: heartless, unloving, immature “Oh I forgot to mention: they have the wrong political beliefs”: stunning, brave, principled, basically Rosa Parks

@TheSeaKelpy @xofreyr The argument that the US is too be is just a moot point. over 40 % of car trips in the US are 6 miles or less. So talking about the whole country's size isn't really the metric we need to talk about in the first place.
English

@TheSeaKelpy @xofreyr That's not really an argument, though? We're not talking about a cross-country trip here, but a seven-minute car drive. Those kinds of connections would absolutely be possible quickly by public transit if it were to receive better funding
English

my european mind cannot and will not attempt to comprehend this madness
Luci@luci_4k
The US doesn't feel like a real place at times
English

@xofreyr Go to rural Germany, it'll be just like that. If there's even a bus going to that village at all.
English

@studiodevilart @graymattermanga Highly depends. Here in small-town Bavaria, definitely not. There used to be one in the neighbouring town, but that one closed down ages ago. The next proper comic/manga store is 60km away in Munich
English

@graymattermanga there are dedicated comic book shops everywhere
English

Easier said that done when many small bookshops actively looking down on graphic novels / manga so they don't carry them. Not to mention the ones that do carry them dont bother to keep up with their regular release schedules.

@ArmisteadHlt @inkfycreates Those words are awfully hateful for someone having a cross in their username. Christian values, much?
English

@inkfycreates It's her job to stop her perversion, find a husband, settle down, and help take care of them.
English

Conveniently leaving out how her parents are homophobic, disowned her first, tried to force her to break up with her GF and are clearly now only "accepting" her because they need EoL care. I'm sorry. They made their bed. They can lie in it.

English

@Mondo_Circus @allie__voss Yeah, no. If you treated your children like shit, don't expect them to give you anything in return. Compassion and love is earned. If you didn't accept your kid and dreated them like shit, why should you expect anything in return?
English

@allie__voss Tough it's your duty. You wouldn't exist otherwise. Conscious existence is the most valuable thing in the entire cosmos compared to which entire planets of gold are worth nothing.
English

@LinaTheWeirdooo What do you expect? It's usually the same people that think adding salt and pepper to their chicke counts as seasoning lol
English

Do people forget that tofu is an actual ingredient in east Asian cooking and is something beyond a meat substitute. Like if you can't work with it that just tells me you're either a bad cook or have a very limited palette that fails to consider anything non European
Community Notes & Violations@CNviolations
Yes.
English

@GonjenDjaban @CNviolations And it's always people complaining that tofu tastes "bland" or "boring". Like, yeah, if you're not gonna season it, of course it's gonna taste like ass. But so will meat, and let's be real, those people don't season their meat either lol
English

@CNviolations As Chinese, I don't understand why westerners treat tofu as a meat substitute.
It's just normal ingredient with wide range of texture, which can be stewed, pan-fried, stir-fried with vegetables and other meat.
Not everything is black and white.
English

@ThorleyMaynard @Suu_the_Dragon @EchorinP Guess every culture's bound to have some meat dish that's served raw. Sushi, beef tatar, Mett, Carpaccio...the list goes on

(wanted to answer on main)

English

@VonGlobig @mrsarjaybee @EchorinP Yes, but it's sadly socially accepted and considered somewhat normal for people that age to already drink hard liquor. Even if it's not legal, it's still done a lot
English

@mrsarjaybee @EchorinP No, you can legally drink beer and wine from 14, when accompanied by a parent.
English

@monkey58027 @LuluCraneVO @EchorinP There's also this, but it's not available anymore: Literally means "Super Thickman's thick nuts"

English

@SamuelvonMR @AdequateOSU @Max_Press565 @EchorinP Every raw food is dangerous if handled and stored improperly. Sushi is perfectly fine unless the fish is stored or prepared incorrectly, same goes for Mett.

Deutsch

Deutsch

@oberrangboomer @DerEchteBursi Ich hab diesen Warntag keine Nachricht aufs Handy bekommen
Deutsch
