A functioning democracy relies on the premise that people can express their political views freely without fear of being attacked or assassinated. Political violence is political cowardice. It is unacceptable in all forms.

@AshleySchapitl It was a clever comment playing on the incessant criminalization of Black youth for daring to be outside at night. White has consistently fought to defend Black teenagers and unhoused people from having their existence criminalized.

@ZacharyforWard5 How do you say isn't working? How many juvenile flash mobs have we had after 10 in one of those zones? If the groups are all gone by curfew and kids are safe I would say it's working great. Tell MD to keep their kids in MD.

This is offensive. The truth of the matter is the Mayor’s strategy has failed. Everybody knows the curfew isn't working. Instead of working to advance alternative solutions *with* the Council, she continues to lob insults and dog whistles that play well with the MAGA base.
