I can officially say @tankdao_xyz is the worst active Web3 organization I have worked with. Last year, @kaiski_eth told me he and @openthefridge were building Tank and wanted to hire me as a BD. At that time I was already working on several projects, so I made it clear that this role would take serious time and effort. He told me not to worry, that they would give me security and stability if I joined. So I did. Over the following months, I brought them countless deals, strong connections, major networks, and projects they still benefit from today. I was constantly called one of the hardest working people in the agency. I was handling so much that they even approved me to have an assistant, which is how I brought in @HarshKh43. Before joining, I had already told them my wife was pregnant and that I had mandatory military service coming up, which every Turkish man has to complete. I explained that during that month I obviously would not be able to work. They told me it was completely fine and even said I would still receive a salary. Instead, I got the lowest payment and was told the rest would come later from the treasury based on performance at the end of the year. When I returned from military service, I found out I had been kicked out with no warning, despite everything I had contributed. What made it worse was how they operated. They would take the cheapest possible deals from projects, especially VC-funded ones, and then push me and other BDs to bring in KOLs without paying them anything. They wanted free labor. I refused. And now I hear from @KuMo_cloud11 that even after moving his life to Kuala Lumpur for them and renting a house to fully commit, he also got kicked out for no real reason. That tells you everything. They are draining VC money without delivering real results. Not a single project I saw them handle succeeded as promised. For example, they told me @tamatamaxyz_ was basically an Aptos Foundation project, that it would 100% sell out, and that leftovers would be bought anyway. In reality, it did not even sell 50%, and they still forced the launch in less than 10 days. Same with @MofuMofuMC. They pushed for a private AMA, we invited around 70 people, but the YouTube stream suddenly showed over 400 viewers, which looked completely fake. When the collection failed, Kaiski told me, “we just incubate projects,” as if them selling out did not matter. Then what exactly are projects paying you for? I gave real effort, brought real value, and got treated as disposable the moment it was convenient. Below in the comments, I will also share the reactions from @kaiski_eth and @openthefridge.

Lately I’ve been thinking about what happens once robots stop being tools and start behaving like participants.
