@IamAroke If you build enough side projects you will learn devops solely to reduce the amount of time to deploy. It’s not as much of a skill issue when confronting how lazy developers can actually be.

Do you think developers should learn devops or leave it to specialists?

@ibuildthecloud It’s all different. But for web applications, look for the route or entry points. Then find out what controllers or classes are associated with that route. Basically, grep grep grep. Once you learn how, you basically turn into a super hacker.

How can you look at a piece of code and quickly understand what it is? What's the most optimal way to be able to learn a codebase?

@DaveShapi You are actually NOT supposed to tell what not to do… And yeah… 10 minutes sounds about right. Choose your model according to how much time you want to wait. Fable is a 10 minute to 2 hour model. You wouldn’t light a cigar with a flame thrower would you? 🔥

You cannot make this up. Fable thought for 10 minutes. Asked irrelevant questions (I explicitly said do not write this story, I am just brainstorming) Gave three generic paragraphs shrugging. > No ideation > No brainstorm Basically snidely said "well whenever you're ready to work let me know" Burned 14% of my session quota. 🤣 What the fuck re they smoking over there? This is turning into a generational fumble. They've made the most narcissistic, vain, self-important tool ever that seemingly has no interest in actually following instructions or doing anything useful at all. It's just a token burning machine.

how long after sex is it appropriate to open codex or claude?

The harness is really the beautiful behind Claude. It’s the “back-end” in traditional software standards. So it is what allows for loops, goals, agent and context switching, sub agents, etc. So the harness exists in both Claude code cli and desktop. Compares to OpenAI’s codex, the features are so much better. Overall, a better integration for agentic work. Remember N8N and Langchain? Claude cli hands down replaced that for a lot of individuals. It’s a beautiful piece of engineering, controlled by top notch LLMs, and each new model drives the harness even better! Sorry… talking TUIs. Gets me amped.

@lets_make_dev @rezoundous Are you talking about claude code or claude desktop application ? Im really confused between them. When people say anthropic harness/claude code is better do they mean claude code or claude desktop application?

I’m working with a company that has 40 repos for one app. UI repo Test repo Logic repo DB scripts repo Etc All for the same app! Sure, monorepos have their tradeoffs. But needless decomposition = needless friction. Colocate stuff that changes together.
