@LAMultiBroker I’m not sure how you can legitimately act as an agent for both parties. I view this as a conflict.

I brought a client a fantastic non-contingent offer on their listing that I've had for 1 week within 3% of asking price. When they realized I would be double-ending the transaction, they asked me to reduce my fee. We already have a listing agreement in place. What do you say?

Hot take: I don’t like the work-from-home model as I feel it hurts productivity, teamwork and engagement. I’m good with a hybrid model, but full WFH? Not good.

Trudeau and his corrupt NDP-Liberal government have gone into hiding. We’re calling for a carbon tax election - now! Until then - Common Sense Conservatives will keep working to hold them to account.

Credit scores are a joke. My score dropped when I paid off my car. My score dropped when I paid off my student loans. Credit agencies told me to take on more loans to increase my score. The system wants you to be in debt. It's a business for them. They punish you for not owing money.

I wish liberals would just be honest. I get it. You're so afraid of Trump you're willing to accept genocide and fascism under Joe Biden. Just own it and stop gaslighting everyone around you with this "booming economy" and "most progressive President since FDR" horseshit

@Burgundavia Seems cherry picked. 🇨🇦 has a lower threshold for top marginal rates ($250k) than the US top marginal rate which kicks in at something like $500k USD. Arguably Canada’s top rate kicks in too low.

@SwanBoatSteve God forbid anyone should get off their posterior and walk a few kms. Or jump on their bikes. Bridge is an awesome idea. No reason for the island to be so isolated. No idea how residents manage.

Re the Toronto Island bridge proposal: the major attractions are at Centre Island which has always been the main ferry destination. A bridge is going to land at Ward's Island a few km to the east. Great for cyclists, lousy for everyone else. Poor transit access landward. (1)

The Science Centre could be kept open for a fraction of what the government will readily spend to rush alcohol sales to corner stores in advance of an early election call.
Colin D'Mello | Global News@ColinDMello

BREAKING: Ontario's Minister of Infrastructure says the government had every intention of keeping the Science. centre open until the new location was built. "It's terrible. It's horrible. It was a very difficult decision and I am saddened by it, just like anyone else."

@GuyTalksFinance Depends on where you live and ratio of rent costs to ownership. Even inflation at high leverage is a good return on capital. I modeled it out for my hometown and it’s actually a wash for me after around a decade, with biggest impact being consideration of taxes on capital gains.

Trump: Now they'll say all these stories are terrible. Well, these stories have, you know, you heard my story in the boat with the shark, right? I got killed on that. They thought I was rambling. I'm not rambling. We can't get the boat to float. The battery is so heavy. So then I start talking about asking questions. You know, I have an, I had an uncle who was a great professor at MIT for many years, long, I think the longest tenure ever. Very smart, had three different degrees and you know, so I have an aptitude for things. You know, there is such a thing as an aptitude. I said, well, what would happen if this boat is so heavy and started to sink and you're on the top of the boat. Do you get electrocuted or not? In other words, the boat is going down and you're on the top, will the electric currents flow through the water and wipe you out? And let's say there's a shark about 10 yards over there. Would I have to immediately abandon or could I ride the electric down and he said, sir, nobody's ever asked us that question. But sir, I don't know. I said, well, I want to know because I guarantee you one thing, I don't care what happens. I'm staying with the electric, I'm not getting over with it. So I tell that story. And the fake news they go, he told this crazy story with electric. It's actually not crazy. It's sort of a smart story, right? Sort of like, you know, it's like the snake, it's a smart when you, you figure what you're leaving in, right? You're bringing it in the, you know, the snake, right? The snake and the snake. I tell that and they do the same thing

An aside, Kevin Vuong has been tweeting non stop since 7:45 AM w/o mentioning or attending the Sunrise Ceremony or National Indigenous Peoples Day (note it’s a *national* day and that City Hall is in his district). Disrespectful and embarrassing.

Hello @OntarioLine. You've lengthened the closure of the westbound Dundas bike lane at Logan by placing barrels to reserve parking for workers. Are there any other solutions to your parking needs? Getting back in that bike lane is pretty important for people on bikes.

@DonFredericko @ShaziGoalie Imagine buying something, having a developer build it, and then deciding that you don’t want it anymore because it’s worth less than you paid for it. All of these suits by Mattamy are winners. And liability IS NOT limited to the deposit(s).

One of my followers is retired and allocated 100% to Bitcoin. He is using a “10% rule” to withdraw 10% from his portfolio each year. He’s comfortable with this because Bitcoin’s CAGR (compound annual growth rate) is over 75% the last 8 years. Is this a safe withdrawal rate? 💸
