🚨BREAKING: ICE/Border Patrol agents were filmed assaulting U.S. citizens outside a HIGH SCHOOL in Minneapolis, pepper-spraying students as agents swarmed the school entrance. Let that sink in. School administrators and staff desperately tried to get agents off school property, while ushering students away from armed federal agents. Chaos. Panic. Children running for safety. And yes… agents pepper-sprayed STUDENTS. This didn’t happen by accident. This happened because the Trump administration stripped schools of their “sensitive location” protections, opening the door for ICE and Border Patrol to operate on school grounds. In plain terms: The federal government intentionally removed protections that once kept armed agents away from children, and now we are watching the predictable result… kids being assaulted with chemical weapons at school. Outside a high school. In broad daylight. On U.S. soil. This is not “border security.” This is state violence. And it’s being unleashed on children.

Gupta: The impacts of this—H-1B visas, fees going up, supply going down—are ultimately going to show up once Trump is out of office. It takes anywhere from 4-6 years for a resident to graduate, get skilled, and get credentialed. So the policies going into effect today are going to rear their head as we enter the next election. If fewer people are willing and able to take those jobs, what happens? The same thing happening with immigration more broadly—we’re just not going to have enough people to meet the demand for medical services every American is going to need at some point. And the irony here is it’ll probably impact red states more than blue states. Red states are where there are more community hospitals, more rural hospitals, more places American medical grads tend not to gravitate toward. Instead, who fills the gap? Foreign medical grads—whose path Trump just made a lot more difficult. So this will have significant impacts not just in the short term, but especially in the medium term. And that’s the irony of a lot of these policies—they’ll impact red states.

I was a witness for Alabama's execution of Alan Miller by nitrogen gas tonight. Again, it did not go as state officials promised. Miller visibly struggled for roughly two minutes, shaking and pulling at his restraints. He then spent the next 5-6 min intermittently gasping for air
