Marie Uchytilova chose 82 children of Lidice asphyxiated in gas chambers of Chelmno. She took 20 years to make this magnificent sculpture because she used documents of the time to reproduce the real faces of the children and represented them according to their exact size. 2/2

David Lammy wants to take away the right to a trial by jury. An ancient English right going back 800 years. And 100 Labour MPs are refusing to support him. Do you think this behaviour is good enough?

David Lammy says judges can adopt the Government’s “Islamophobia” definition. It’s supposed to be non-statutory. But it’s clearly going to change the way the law works. That’s why we will scrap it.

British MP Nick Timothy introduces a bill to protect freedom of speech and tells Muslims who cry ‘Islamophobia’ to shove it: Muhammad is a false prophet. British people are not bound by Islam or its Sharia laws. Do you agree with this MP? Yes or No?

Amazing self own from Naz Shah She claims Muslims contribute £70 Billion to the UK economy each year The UK economy is approx. £2.56 Trillion per year That's just 2.7%, yet Muslims make up 7% of the population Proving they are in fact a drain on our society
Naz Shah MP@NazShahBfd

Dear British Muslims, Tomorrow is Eid. Research shows Ramadan spending boosts the economy by £1.3bn, on top of an annual contribution of £70bn. I'm sure you want to celebrate - but spend too much, grow the economy a little too fast, and it might be seen as "dominating" 😳😬

So the Muslim Brotherhood release a Ramadan message to all UK Muslims, openly declaring the goal of Islam is total control and takeover. Yet Labour are busy banning criticism of these weirdos rather than banning them? It's time to go, Keir.

I live in a Christian majority country with a deep Christian heritage. The cross appears in our emblems, flag, and our state symbols. Yet for the past month, media and politicians have spoken every single day about Ramadan - and not a word about Lent. Why is that?

For a number of years, more than 20 years ago, I worked for a Pakistani owned business and lived in a Muslim dominated area of Manchester. I understand why Nick feels this way, and those railing against it in the name of diversity are ignoring that Islam is aggressively intolerant of other religions. I have many years of personal experience with both immigrant and British born Pakistanis. There was no real difference. Islam is the one true faith and all others are "kafir". It's a far more exclusive religion than others, there is no interest in diversity of faith. You are Muslim, or you are "kafir". This was highlighted to me on the day of 9/11. It was early in the morning, around 9am, and cheers started echoing down the corridors. Word started to spread and they were all grinning and clapping each other on the backs. These were men and women born and raised here for the most part. The owner wheeled in a big CRT TV and 30-40 of them gathered around BBC news laughing and cheering like Pakistan were in the cricket world cup final. It is not hard to see why large public prayers by followers of a religion perceived as hostile to your very existence can feel less like worship and more like an assertion of dominance. I'm sure there are many good, tolerant Muslim people in this country who mix Western ideals with the muslim faith. People that consider themselves British among all else. But I learned that day that there are less than you think.
Nick Timothy MP@NJ_Timothy

Too many are too polite to say this. But mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination. The adhan - which declares there is no god but allah and Muhammad is his messenger - is, when called in a public place, a declaration of domination. Perform these rituals in mosques if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions. And given their explicit repudiation of Christianity they certainly do not belong in our churches and cathedrals. I am not suggesting everybody at Trafalgar Square last night is an Islamist. But the domination of public places is straight from the Islamist playbook. Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us. It is a national memorial to our independence and our salvation. Last night was not like a televised football match or a St Patrick’s Day celebration. It was an act of domination and therefore division. It shouldn’t happen again.

Dear Naz, You retweeted a post telling victims of Pakistani-Muslim grooming gang victims to “shut their mouths for the sake of diversity.” I couldn’t care less about your opinion on Eid. Or anything else, for that matter. You are a heartless, hateful woman.

I'm drafting a series of profiles on the politicians involved in the Pakistani rape gang cover up. I thought I'd start with Jess Phillips. Jess Phillips Jess Phillips became MP for Birmingham Yardley in 2015. That same year, West Midlands Police had a confidential profile sitting in a file identifying 700 children at risk of sexual exploitation in her city. She did not just hold a Birmingham seat. In opposition she held the shadow safeguarding brief. When Labour won the election she was appointed Safeguarding Minister on day one. The portfolio she had spent years preparing for in opposition became hers in government the moment the votes were counted. She was the shadow minister for the exact problem she was doing nothing about. In Parliament she said she would be lying if she denied that over the years, girls had told her police were part of not just the cover-up but the perpetration of abuse in Birmingham. Read that again. The Minister for Safeguarding Girls. A Birmingham MP since 2015. Shadow minister for safeguarding throughout the years of opposition. Victims coming to her with allegations of police involvement in rape gang abuse across her own city. When Labour took power she did not call a national inquiry. She tried to help bury one. After being exposed for blocking a public inquiry in Oldham, she offered councils a £5 million fund to investigate themselves. The same councils that had presided over the abuse. Marking their own homework. She was forced into a U-turn in June 2025 and a statutory inquiry was announced. Within weeks survivors on the panel began resigning. They said the scope was being quietly widened away from grooming gangs and toward general child sexual abuse. Phillips told Parliament their claims were categorically untrue. Evidence then emerged that they were telling the truth. Five survivors made her resignation a condition of their return to the panel. Both prospective chairs withdrew. The inquiry she had spent a decade in position to lead was described by a survivor as feeling like a cover-up, scripted and predetermined. The girls who came to her as victims did not get a decade to prepare. They did not get a U-turn when the pressure mounted. They got told their accounts were untrue by the woman whose job title said she was there to protect them. Perhaps @jessphillips would like to comment on the accuracy of the draft? Let me know if you want anything else added. _________ I’m Raja Miah MBE. For seven years, I led a campaign that exposed how senior Labour politicians helped protect Pakistani rape gangs. The people of my town helped force the national inquiry. You won’t see me on the BBC. You won’t read my work in the legacy press. That’s not an accident. I take this to a place from where there is no coming back. Children were sold for votes. My work is free. No paywalls. No gatekeeping. No exclusions. The truth shouldn’t belong only to those who can afford it. If you can afford to do so, supporting me costs as little as 75p a week (£30 a year). At midnight, the regime raided 18‑year‑old Melika Azizi’s home and dragged her to Lakan Prison in Rasht. She’s been beaten, cut off from her family, and sentenced to death. In court she looked the judge in the eye and shouted: “You’ve spilled the blood of so many young people, how can I stay silent? It doesn’t matter to me, kill me too.” This is a teenager whose “crime” was courage. We can’t let them execute her in silence. #MelikaAzizi #StopExecutionsInIran

Remember this article from Jenni Murray in 2017. Totally reasonable, nothing extreme, just saying men can’t be women. Then there was all the protests, calls to cancel talks, The BBC warned her, restricted her on air, and by 2020 she left Woman’s Hour. But she never backed down, even as the pushback continued for years. This is how speaking honestly costs you in public life. But she was forever right. Rest in peace, brave and courageous Jenni Murray. thetimes.com/article/490f2f…

The United Kingdom is in a sinister, censorious state. I was invited to an interview with the police for the first time in 2017 for saying it’s wrong to castrate a 16 year old. Over the last few years, I’ve had a visit from the police for being “untoward about paedophiles”, been arrested for organising an outdoor political gathering during lockdown, and made a couple more trips to the police station for my speech. My primary role in life is that of a mother; I see this country through the lens of what we leave for our children. Yesterday, whilst in a taxi after listening to the extraordinary Noa Argamani speak, I saw an email from my son’s college. (In the UK, college/sixth form is compulsory for 16–18-year-olds.) The email was a sinister and viciously authoritarian punishment for wrongthink and speech. Had my son said women have penises and should be able to share rape crisis centres with other women, he would have been fine. He would not have been accused of being ideologically abhorrent (in writing) and given a permanent record to take with him into university or an apprenticeship. We, the adults, have created this environment for our children, and it is incumbent upon us to fight to stop it. These battles are high risk for our children; speaking freely can cost them friendships and opportunities. You must ensure your child is not suffering the harms of our societal neglect. There will be consequences for adults who think they can bully my son. Maybe they haven’t heard, but, especially when it comes to my children … I never lose.

How far is Starmer’s government serving the Islamic Republic? BBC Persian amplifies Tehran, and now a member of the Iranian regime was reportedly attempting to enter a British nuclear missile base. On Eid, roads in London, Manchester, and Birmingham were blocked for prayer. Yet mosques refused to mention or condemn Iran’s attacks on the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, and other Muslim countries. In Birmingham, sermons turned to cursing America and calling for victory for Hamas and the Islamic Republic. At that very moment, Iran, which claims Islam, was launching missiles and drones. The UAE stood firm, intercepting them and protecting lives. Shameful silence. Almost all Muslim MPs in the EU and UK still refuse to condemn Iran’s attacks on the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, and other Muslim nations.
