Ok, Jamie: Let me clear things up for you. If my 5% wealth tax on billionaires was enacted you’d owe $135 million more in taxes & a family of 4 making $150,000 or less would receive a $12,000 payment. Oh, and you’d still be worth more than $2.5 billion. Seems pretty fair to me.

Yet, capital is still trickling in. It only takes one good trading session to recoup months of losses.

trump went from being one of the most loved and promising presidential candidates in modern history to having less than a 30% approval rating in his first year. that has to be some kind of record this man had the entire country behind him. republicans loved him. independents gave him a shot. even some democrats were quietly rooting for change. he had the mandate, the momentum, and a country desperate for someone to actually deliver and he fumbled it so hard that the majority of the people who voted for him are now sitting there in silence wondering what happened. no new wars became a war. drain the swamp became the swamp with new members. america first became israel first the amount of goodwill this man had and how quickly he burned through it is actually unbelievable. you had everything handed to you on a silver platter and this is what you did with it even his biggest supporters can’t defend what’s happening anymore. they just go quiet and change the subject. that tells you everything

Part of a great country is raising the youth to be patriotic. Growing up we started the day at school with the pledge of allegiance. We were taught how heroic the founding fathers were taking on the mighty British Army for freedom. I remember it vividly from the early 80’s. If we teach our youth that we were oppressors and racists and that’s our true history than our future is looking pretty grim

High school in Maine being sued for not giving students opportunity to recite Pledge of Allegiance. Local Army veteran says, “I think you should always do the Pledge of Allegiance in the high school. It’s what makes America, America. It’s part of being proud of our country.”
