I personally have a linux server machine in my house that I run hermes-agent on and do my dev work from.

100% of dev is going to be done in sandboxes in the cloud, controlled by kanban boards. Trust me, I love my local machine and gorgeous mac apps, but all of it is just a terrible form factor for running a team of agents effectively.

@SIGKITTEN My first cross agent support was integrating claude agent sdk. It doesn't even give you half the features claude code has. Like even compact slash command iirc.

opencode 1.3.0 will no longer autoload the claude max plugin we did our best to convince anthropic to support developer choice but they sent lawyers it's your right to access services however you wish but it is also their right to block whoever they want we can't maintain an official plugin so it's been removed from github and marked deprecated on npm appreciate our partners at openai, github and gitlab who are going the other direction and supporting developer freedom

Something odd i have noticed, I was using the new xiaomi model first, which like a lot of chinese models emits normal text in the middle of reasoning/tool calls. Then I switched to GPT 5.4, and it also starts doing that.

The saddest part of all this is that it's all pointless. Iran doesn't have the means to stop the US and Israel. Iran is simply imposing pain, damaging global economy, to spoil the rest of Trump's term. It's a move for an iterated game, but there won't be another round.

I’ve rolled my own, which was fun, though I’m tempted to try remotion. there’s another interesting platform that is stealth rn, but keen to try it when it ships
I’m using Konva for the canvas, and then have created my own shitty dsl with programmable keyframes, and then mediabunny for generating video
It’s not really the point of my product anymore, so.. yeah, happy to move away from my own thing

Yeah, tool adoption is quite good. Anything computer vision, outside of text seems super mid for understanding. Right now I’m running evals on generating higher quality animations, which is causing me to go more and more into deterministic tools/relying in templates instead of pure generation

@thunkoid Models are definitely better. I have been building my harness since Claude 3.7 I think, and around gpt codex, the RL was good enough that coding models can handle most harnesses without any system prompts. Just tool defs are enough. For ex, codex is rld and trained to use patch
