The Chairperson of the African Union Commission Congratulates the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia on Winning the Bid to Host COP32 Addis Ababa, 14 November 2025: The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, congratulates the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia on its successful bid to host the 32nd Conference of the Parties (COP32) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). “The remarkable achievement reflects Africa's unwavering commitment to climate action and Ethiopia's longstanding leadership in advancing sustainable development on the continent,” the Chairperson said. “Under the leadership of H.E. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Ethiopia has championed bold climate initiatives — including its ambitious reforestation efforts and the Green Legacy programme — that continue to inspire action across Africa and beyond.” He further noted that “Ethiopia has consistently demonstrated its capacity and experience in hosting major international summits, including the successful Africa Climate Summit, high-level global climate and development summits, and continental and regional conferences that benefit from the country’s strong institutional foundations and organisational excellence.” As home to the African Union Headquarters and numerous international organisations, Addis Ababa stands as one of the world’s foremost diplomatic capitals and a centre of multilateralism. Its selection as the host city for COP32 “reaffirms its vital role in fostering global cooperation and dialogue on the most pressing issues of our time,” said the Chairperson. The Chairperson added that the African Union Commission “looks forward to working closely with the Government of Ethiopia, the UNFCCC Secretariat, and all partners to ensure a successful, inclusive, and outcomes-driven COP32 that advances Africa’s climate priorities and strengthens global solidarity in the fight against climate change.” @MFAEthiopia @PMEthiopia @UNFCCC au.int/en/pressreleas…

Africa’s industrial transformation demands a new kind of workforce — one ready to power the continent’s rapid development. From agro-processing that strengthens food security and creates jobs, to meeting global standards that keep industries competitive, the message is clear: skills are the backbone of Africa’s future. 🌍💡 As H.E. Prof. Yaye Kene Gassama, Chair of the AU High-Level Panel on Emerging Technologies, reminds us: “Industries cannot compete without our highly trained professionals.” The future belongs to a skilled Africa — building value, creating opportunities, and driving the vision of #Agenda2063. #ISWA2025 #TheAfricaWeWant #Skills4Jobs @AECID_es @UNIDO @Hitachi @TEVETAZM @giz_gmbh @ilo @OECD @EU_Commission @UNmigration @BMZ_Bund @KfW_int @SymerreGrey @nardosbthomas

Think about protein quality: Red meat gives you complete amino acids in the exact ratios your body needs. Plant proteins are incomplete and less bioavailable. Your body has to work harder to get the same building blocks from plants that it gets effortlessly from meat.

The studies that demonized red meat had a problem: They lumped together: • Grass-fed steak • Processed hot dogs • Nitrate-filled deli meats • Fast food patties Then blamed all "red meat" when people eating processed junk got sick. That's like blaming fruit because donuts contain apple filling.
