I love living in Newhaven, it is a working port but it's also where people live, industry is fine, inadequately monitored industry is not!
Not just water, our air is not being protected by @EnvAgency @DefraGovUK @Feargal_Sharkey @RachSalv @HugoSAS

The bad #news today is that @AnglianWater clearly intend to do ZERO to stop #sewage leaking into our beautiful chalk stream. We’ve had no rain for days and the 💩show continues. Absolute contempt for customers and nature. How many of these discharges are they getting away with?

Well said Matt. We should all stop talking to water companies about this stuff, it’s a charade. Demand that the @EnvAgency does what it was setup to do, defend our rivers.
