The USS Gerald R ford clearly got hit by some drone or missile. They are trying to maintain this illusion that our forces are invincible. We had planes that got shot down? Friendly fire or some “accident”. A ship is heavily damaged and will be out of commission for 12-14 months? Just an onboard fire, nothing to see here.. it’s ridiculous

While at sea I was woken up about 3 times a week to drill for this because it literally does happen for “no reason”. Had 2 real fires underway too. You can tell people like this have no clue about life at sea when they think a laundry fire is so impossible that it must be some cover up 🙄

I did not intend this tweet to be rage bait. I meant it as a joke about the people who claimed Iran was bankrupting us because of the price difference between our high end interceptors versus their drones.
I am genuinely astonished at the number of people who read this as serious. It's like discovering the One Ring.
