$HOOD Is anyone else still waiting patiently for the credit card or banking access? If there’s one thing I’m sincerely disappointed with when it comes to Robinhood is the pace of their product availability post launch… Been an avid user for the for ever, but it seems like they launch products but keep people of the waitlist forever. Not sure what the hold up is to honest but there comes a point when the enthusiasm from the launch starts to die out. I was super enthusiastic about the banking launch but still waiting… I’m literally trying to complete the brokerage, savings, checking and credit card loop but these waitlists have alot of people like me frustrated. I know people they signed up for the credit card, which I love btw, a long time ago and still waiting. Not sure if anyone at $HOOD sees this but I’d really implore you to work on speeding up the process. @RobinhoodApp $HOOD @vladtenev

$HOOD crypto revenue has definitely been a key catalyst for the stock over the past year and a half. With crypto volumes potentially lower in Q1 2026, it will be interesting to see prediction markets revenue become a higher percentage of total transaction-based revenue. For Q4 2025, prediction markets revenue will exceed $85 million—almost what Robinhood made from equities in Q3. Going into 2026, my guess is that prediction markets revenue will surpass equities and potentially approach crypto and options revenue. January metrics will give us a very good idea of what to expect for 2026.

Since people want to say I rented this car or leased it let’s breakdown how I actually bought it: I’ll start with answering 2 questions… Is this car rented? No. Is this car leased? YES! The lease structure on this is an equity bearing lease, that’s how I always do my cars. Total purchase price was $410,000 out the door I put down $102,000, and pay $5,300 for 58 months Which is not bad at all but I have great history with the company It’s a 60 month term but the first 2 payments are included in the downpayment Why do I do this? Better terms for being young with no co-sign, retain equity, and less out of pocket Could I buy the car cash and avoid any interest? Sure, but that takes 4x the amount out of my pocket when I could use the extra $300,000 to continue investing Which is exactly what I’m doing and so far I’ve already made majority of my downpayment back Is it dumb? To me absolutely not To the average X user with less than $50k to their name who can’t even get approved let alone put the down payment down, I’m probably an idiot Anyways, hopefully some of you can learn from this since I haven’t explained how I buy cars too in depth TLDR: I finance cars so I can continue to keep $ in my pocket and invest it The annual % returns I get are far exceeding any interest rates and actually pay for the whole car plenty of times over lol If you are able to get the % returns I do, I believe this is a great way to do it

They 100% do not teach this basic stuff in school. Also the majority of people don't invest a single dollar because they don't have a dollar to spare. 1. Schools are designed to create employees, not wealthy people. Compounding interest is the cheat code to escaping the employee track. If you understood that $500/mo invested from age 20–60 becomes millions, you’d question why the hell you are being trained to memorize state capitals instead of building assets. 2. Debt benefits the system. Your wealth doesn’t. If you don’t understand compounding for you… you also don’t understand compounding against you. Credit cards at 24% APR, student loans dragging for decades, that’s compounding too. Just in reverse. And it makes banks rich. 3. Wealth education creates independent thinkers. Independent thinkers question: -college ROI -30-year mortgages -retirement plans that barely beat inflation -Social Security -Taxes 4. Teachers aren’t taught it either. Most teachers don’t invest. They don’t build wealth. They’re not financially literate enough to teach it even if they wanted to. 5. If everyone knew compounding, everyone would retire early. And the economy needs worker bees not a generation of people saying “Nah, I’m good, my index fund’s doing the work.”
StrongHands@StonkHands

@Jason______A Interesting, because I'd say I'm far from the average. Investing like you are saying is what everyone is taught and usually does. You can argue most don't do it but its because they don't have the disposable income in the first place

LONG $UNH $ELV $HUM $CIG Spoke to alot of people over the last few weeks and what I'm being told is the same thing... Alot of people who are self employed are looking at ACA marketplace prices and choosing short term high deductible plans with low monthly costs and lifetime limits that are MUCH MUCH Cheaper. Alot of them would rather just pay out of pocket for the few doctors visits and dont need comprehensive care. For anyone thats self employed... what are you choosing?

Falling knife 🔪 purchase: Purchased 80,750 shares of $HIMS @ average cost of $45.09 Stock has fallen primarily because of: - Missed revenue estimate for the first time ever since IPO, by 1% in Q2. - Wallstreet fears of company not being able to deliver on $2.3-2.4 billion revenue guidance after sudden end to commercial semaglutide partnership with $NVO. - $NVO filing massive blanket lawsuits to dozens of smaller GLP-1 compounders but has not filed on $HIMS so far. $HIMS sits on a war chest of $1.2 billion in cash and continues to invest and grow their personalized semaglutide segment despite the threats. - CEO sold 4x more personal shares this month compared to any other month of planned sales. It was a planned sale for taxes and charities. He remains the largest individual shareholder. - Reported negative Q2 operating cashflow after posting a streak of 9 consecutive positive and accretive operating cashflow quarters. There was an irregular & outsized inventory purchase 4.5x higher than any other quarter in company history in Q2. May be associated with preparation for the new product rollout of hormonal products for the second half of year. Opportunity through the noise: - Data signals company will achieve the highest quarter of revenue in company history in both Q3 and Q4 this year. Company guides $570-590M in Q3. Their previous record was $586M. - Meta data results look positive so far through July in the categories of credit card sales, new customer acquisition, web traffic data vs competition, and ad count. (Thanks to @himshouse for the great research) - App Store rankings are climbing again in August after dropping last month. - Canada commercial GLP-1 patent ends this year and 2026 is free game for all compounders. - Hormonal treatment/replacement for HIMS and HERS set to roll out in second half of 2025. This completes their customer demographic spectrum to cover young, middle aged, and aging populations in both genders. Massive and growing customer platform to grow the long term business with. - Acquired Zava this year and expands in Europe this year to UK, Germany, France, and Ireland. - Acquired at home testing solutions companies to grow augment the ways they can deliver better health outcomes with better convenience. This could be a huge play if it works, which would change systemic behaviors in the medical industry as a whole if it catches on. - Investing in AI to create agentic services for providers, customers, and internally. Their data will be massive if at home testing services catch on.

Hey I’m an idiot with many things, but I was the only one on here to fully dissect filings to conclude $UNH could be Buffett’s mystery stock way back in June. How Wall St. analysts way smarter than me missed this, I don’t know.
Say No To Trading@SayNoToTrading

In an effort to avoid Buffett cliches, I haven't wanted to say this, but Berkshire's 13F contained a confidential treatment tag for a secret stock. The odds it's UnitedHealth $UNH are greater than 0%, let's just say that. Here's why... Whatever they're buying, it's most likely a $50B+ or larger market cap, because that allows them to invest billions without triggering a 5% or 10% stake (which would involve other disclosures). When you compile their buy and sell activity for Q1, in the "Banks, insurance and finance" category, Berkshire's cost basis fell from $15.71B in Q4 2024 to $14.27 billion in Q1 2025. This is explained by decreases in $BAC and disposal of $C. The second category, "Consumer products," showed a cost basis increase from $12.66B in Q4 2024 to $13.76B in Q1 2025. This is from buying Constellation Brands $STZ. The third category is "Commercial, industrial and other," whose cost basis jumped from $47.14B to $49.1B. Since only a few hundred million of publicly disclosed purchases are in this category, to explain away the difference, the remainder must be the mystery stock. We also know it's not an add to an existing holding, since that would involve Form 4 filings. Going back to that "Commercial, industrial and other" category, it includes tech, industrial, energy, and yes, healthcare. Among those, there are 136 stocks with a $50B+ market cap. Energy seems less likely, given they already have heavy exposure with $OXY, $CVX, and their internal Berkshire Hathaway Energy. It's true Buffett isn't the biggest fan of healthcare, but he shuns tech even more (remember $AAPL was Ted Weschler or Todd Combs). S&P Global classifies UnitedHealth Group $UNH primarily within the Healthcare sector, NOT insurance. I have not fully confirmed if the form's categorization criteria fully mirrors that. Now keep in mind, Feb and March (Q1 ends 3/31) were before the plummet, but this formerly top 20 market cap stock was very attractive even then, if you wanted a large liquid name, being it was near a 4-year low. Remember, the biggest challenge Berkshire faces in recent years is finding undervalued stocks large enough to move the needle. Where, just few percent ownership equals $10-20B or more. Do I think it's likely $UNH? All I will say is, I wouldn't bet against it. If I get another opportunity to add more in the $270s and $280s, around my lowest cost lots, I intend to do so. But I may start adding more here and now. To recap, when we had pop to $320s, I sold some low $300s shares in green. That's why cost basis is now higher and share count lower compared to a few weeks ago.
