For some reason it has become trendy (again) for some national media types to hate on the 2025 Nets draft class recently. It’s almost like because Egor Dëmin has been injured, people have forgotten about how solid his rookie season was. Out of sight, out of mind, I guess. Dëmin is surely in the running for an All-Rookie team and would probably be a lock if he didn’t get hurt.

Jalen Brunson was in his bag tonight 🔥 12 PTS 5/14 FGM 1/5 3PM 37 Minutes

Some NBA teams now have Darius Acuff Jr. rated over Darryn Peterson on their draft boards, per @JakeLFischer (h/t @NBA__Courtside )

Sean Marks had 5 first round picks in one of the deepest drafts ever and still has no franchise building block Sean marks built the worst roster on paper and is a mile away from competing Sean marks is on the verge of mismanaging another tank He needs to be fired

My not-at-all-hot take is that this is bad & they should unflatten the lotto odds (& probably go to reverse order) It's quite unfair the worst team has an avg draft position of 3.7 (14% chance at #1) while the 8th worst team isn't that far back (7.0 avg pick + 6% chacne for #1)

New York actually fleeced Brooklyn during the Mikal Bridges trade. A.) Brooklyn's drafted 2 busts and/or G-League players @ best with our 2 picks this past draft (Ben Saraf 26th and Danny Wolf 27th). B.) None of their 3 remaining draft picks are this year (within a fully loaded draft class) and potentially the most stacked draft class over the previous 20+ years. 2027. 2029. 2031. None of those 3 draft picks are going to save their atrocious Franchise.

Trump on Islamic regime leaders: "They're gonna make a deal. They did something yesterday that was amazing actually. They gave us a present, and the present arrived today. It was a very big present worth a tremendous amount of money. I'm not gonna tell you what that present is but it was very significant prize."
