Thanks for the feedback on Codex in the ChatGPT mobile app. While it’s in preview, we’re working to improve it fast. What you can expect next: push notifications, /fork, ability to restore after revoking, better reconnects, fixing the ability to control other devices, fewer mobile thread errors, better git diff & full-file, no plan mode issues, and lots more polish/bug fixes.

@levelsio @theo Couldn’t you just have a cron job that checks for outdated models and changes to the latest when needed? Have the model decide if it should upgrade itself

@theo That'd be fine if they didn't expire models quite fast My sites/apps are built so they keep running forever but this doesn't let them do that

You don’t actually want this. Learning how a new model works is much more work than pressing a button. If the button press is too much friction, you shouldn’t switch lol

@OpenAI I think your api auto recharge is broken. I went negative when It should have recharged my balance. I had to manually do it after I saw I was getting errors

My paywall is semi-broken with a lifetime option placeholder but no actual price or ability to purchase 🤦‍♂️ The review team keep telling me I need to submit a new version of the binary with the lifetime offer included. I've done that 3 times. And each build has been approved while the lifetime offer rejected. I think it's because the paywall triggers *after* the user generates their first video in the app. So now I've resorted to having a soft paywall trigger at a normal place in the onboarding flow. Hopefully that's enough to get it over the line.
