The bill says your birth certificate must match your legal name, and it doesn't say you're allowed to show a marriage certificate or a name change certificate along with it. 2/3rds of the population of New York, Massachusetts, California, and New Jersey have passports. Fewer than 1/3rd of the population of West Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Oklahoma have passports. Republicans' attempts to solve the non-existent problem of voter fraud in federal elections will block their own voters from casting a ballot, while leaving Democrats far less impacted. Complete ineptitude.
