@IndexAndForget Depends on the charity. All real charities are required to publish the percentage of gifts that get chewed up by administrative costs. You are right about some. But there are many which run very lean.

@IndexAndForget Many people living paycheck to paycheck make charitable contributions. But that wasn’t my point. The talk was about spending all you’ve saved in retirement or leaving it to your kids. No mention of charity’s Rarely on this channel does anyone voice a desire to give to charity.
