Mercedes fängt an, Ladestationen aufzubauen. Am Display erkennt man schon, was falsch läuft. Ich habe mir das Schauspiel 15 Minuten angeschaut. Ausnahmslos jeder Nutzer dieser Ladesäule hat mehrere Minuten gebraucht, um den Vorgang zu starten. Besonders ältere Herrschaften hatten Schwierigkeiten mit dem verschachtelten Menü. Wozu braucht eine Steckdose (nichts anderes ist diese Station) vier Eingabetasten? Mercedes-Kunden zahlen beim Kauf einen Aufschlag von vielen tausend Euro, um mit 400 kW laden zu können, was theoretisch 5 bis 8 Minuten Zeitersparnis bedeutet, aber genau diese Zeit verschwenden sie, um im Menü einen profanen Ladevorgang zu starten. Besonders absurd wird es, wenn man sich vor Augen führt, dass nebenan ein Supercharger steht. Die Tesla-Kunden fahren hin, stecken den Stecker ein und gehen spazieren oder essen nebenan. Sie sind genauso schnell fertig, nur ohne Stress. Die Weltanschauung bei Mercedes, alles zu verkomplizieren (neben der Sucht nach billigstem Plastik), wird ihr Untergang sein.

@Chassdesk Most sessions with 400 kW peak are Tesla Cybertrucks. Unfortunately doesn’t hold peak power very long.

According to Lars, Cybercab efficiency is 165wh/mi (over 6mi/kWh!!) This means it’s super efficient and cheaper to operate.

@brandenflasch @its_Seebas Not necessarily simpler; more convenient and reliable. It’s doesn’t rely on activating a camera, and manually framing a QR code. Avoids issues should screen be in bright sunlight, covered in moisture or becomes damaged.
