Suspect in Fatal Highlands Ranch Hit-and-Run Faces Multiple Felony Charges The Douglas County Sheriff's Office has identified 28-year-old Adam Bauserman as the suspect in the fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred at the intersection of East Wildcat Reserve Parkway and Willowbridge Way on June 1st. The suspect allegedly struck three pedestrians with his vehicle before fleeing the scene. One victim died at the scene, while two other victims sustained serious injuries and were transported to local hospitals for immediate medical treatment. A witness to the crash followed the suspect's vehicle and provided updates to Douglas County Regional Dispatch until deputies arrived and took the driver into custody. Preliminary charges for Bauserman include the following seven felonies and one misdemeanor: • Vehicular Homicide • Failed to remain at the scene of an accident involving death • Failed to remain at the scene of an accident involving serious bodily injury (2 counts) • Vehicular assault (2 counts) • Assault in the second degree – Crimes to at-risk persons • Drove motor vehicle when license under restraint (express consent refusal/DUI conviction) A judge set his bond at $100,000. The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact Detective Pereira at: bpereira@dcsheriff.net or call: 303-660-7537. A charge is merely an accusation; the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Many amazing National Park rangers with degrees in biology have lost there jobs but this whack job is protected and will never be fired for inclusion purposes . We are living in one massive south park episode
RodeoProfessor@RodeoProfessor

“Pattie Gonia” doesn’t give a rip about conservation or anything other than his own massive ego. He doesn’t care that posing in a mini skirt and stripper heels in a creepily oversexualized NPS uniform next to the Interior Secretary torched the largely bipartisan goodwill that the National Park Service and its rangers enjoyed up until 5 minutes ago. Rangers are a symbolic position on the front lines of public land and outdoor education. They’re the ambassadors to the most important part our public land portfolio welcoming Americans from all walks of life to our parks. Little kids love getting the junior ranger badges from park rangers, and when they’re older cite these interactions as reasons to go into a career in the outdoors themselves. Subverting that or “queering” what are otherwise unifying symbols for the American outdoors makes a visit to our parks about his activist nonsense performance rather than nature/wildlife. He doesn’t speak for the parks, he definitely doesn’t speak for the majority of its employees who really resent the political firestorm when he stages stunts like draping a giant trans flag on the face of El Cap. And I’m sure he wouldn’t take any responsibility for the fact that when I see anyone on his site celebrating public land agency employee firing, it’s his picture they share to show that the agencies lost their way, went batshit crazy, and ignore their statutory purpose in favor of goofy activism. And for what? Raising a couple grand here and there for nutty ideologue NGOs in his never ending quest to demand you give him attention. Get crazy people out of conservation so we can get back to focusing on bighorn sheep and elk.

I watched the 9News Republican gubernatorial debate so you don’t have to. You’re welcome. For those who missed it, imagine if three people got trapped in an elevator with Kyle Clark for an hour and were only allowed to communicate through campaign talking points. That was basically the debate. The first question was where Democrats have overreached. An easy softball. Instead, we immediately got: “Everything is broken.” “The Constitution.” “I’m not a politician.” Congratulations. We were 90 seconds in and already playing Republican Debate Bingo. Then things got weird. @ScottBottomsCO called @victormarx a con man. Victor Marx responded by essentially saying, “I’m sorry you’re upset that I’m the main character.” @KirkmeyerforGov jumped in and basically said, “I wouldn’t support him if he won.” At that point it stopped being a gubernatorial debate and became an HOA board meeting with unresolved trauma. Then affordability came up. @KyleClark kept asking for specific solutions. The candidates responded with the political equivalent of submitting a book report titled “Thoughts.” “Leadership.” “Negotiation.” “Deregulation.” “Budget.” Specifics were treated like classified documents. Then Kyle started pulling receipts. And that’s when the debate turned into an episode of To Catch a Campaign. Website claims. Mailer claims. Rescue mission claims. Campaign finance filing problems. At one point I thought Kyle was about to pull out a projector and start highlighting things with a laser pointer. Then came the Tren de Aragua discussion. Bottoms had previously claimed there were 45,000 to 50,000 gang members in Colorado. Turns out the number was actually Venezuelans. Just a tiny difference. Like confusing a football team with everyone who attended the game. Kyle spent what felt like three business days trying to get a straight answer. Bottoms spent what felt like three business days not giving one. Then we got what might be the quote of the night. Bottoms suggested sanctuary city mayors might need to go to jail. Kyle asked how. Bottoms essentially responded: “Call the Attorney General.” That is not how criminal law works. That’s how my toddler thinks government works. Then we moved into budget math. This was less of a policy discussion and more of a live-action hostage situation involving calculators. Bottoms argued Colorado could find tens of billions of dollars by cutting various programs. Meanwhile, Marx continued operating on pure confidence. Every answer felt like: “Trust me, brother.” The policy details were apparently on the same rescue mission as the rest of the documentation. Then came the Tina Peters questions. At that point I was pretty sure Kyle was just seeing how much chaos he could fit into a single hour. The answer spectrum ranged from “absolutely not” to “absolutely yes” to “I’m going to answer a completely different question.” A true bipartisan commitment to confusion. Then we got closing statements. Bottoms declared Democrats destroyed everything. Marx prayed. Barb compared politics to cleaning up cow manure on a dairy farm. Honestly, after watching the debate, that may have been the most relatable thing said all night. Final thoughts? Nobody landed a knockout. Nobody unified the party. Nobody walked away looking like they had solved Colorado’s biggest problems. But we did learn three important things: Kyle Clark definitely enjoys this way too much. Every debate moderator should carry receipts. Colorado Republicans remain committed to treating primary voters like participants in an escape room where nobody can find the key. The good news is the debate is over. The bad news is we’re still six months away from the General. #copolitics #unfilteredpolitics

🚨BREAKING: Nvidia will pay you $1,000 a month to host a mini AI data center at your house. It looks like a regular AC unit sitting in your yard. Nobody walking past would know what is inside. Inside sits 16 Nvidia Blackwell GPUs and Dell servers running at full capacity. A startup called Span builds and installs them. They are backed by Nvidia directly. The whole unit bolts onto your home and you get paid for the power and Wi-Fi you supply. Some estimates put the monthly payout around $1,000. That is rent money just for hosting a box you never touch. Span says the units deploy significantly faster and cheaper than traditional data centers. That is exactly why Nvidia is backing the suburban rollout instead of waiting for more commercial land. The AI boom needed more compute. It found it in the suburbs. The grid is being rebuilt one backyard at a time. Save this.
