I’ve covered Eric Swawell since he was a member of the Dublin City Council. Shortly after being elected to Congress in 2013, his behavior towards women was known by all levels of our local government and the Alameda County Democratic Party.

@Baileymoon15 @kenklippenstein I want to know something. I live in his district in CA. He’s been elected 6 times. He has plenty of detractors here, but in 13 years I have never, ever heard one faint whisper of any of this. So why is this so well known in DC, and not in his own district? Curious.

Another day closer to the truth coming out about Eric Swalwell and his history of alleged sexual harassment and abuse against women.  Yesterday, his campaign came out publicly to deny his behavior, his NDAs, and the existence of these allegations in a statement to POLITICO.  This statement was forced, false, and a clear signal they are bracing for impact.  Every day since I first spoke about this last week, more women have come forward. They’ve shared deeply personal stories that previously felt too isolated or too risky to expose. But now, they know they are not alone.  The Swalwell team also suggested that these women have “teamed up with MAGA” – which is just gross, especially when so many are risking careers they built in democratic politics. I am also aware that they have been suggesting that I am a paid operative working on behalf of his political opponents. This is not true. And the Swalwell team has provided no evidence to support these allegations… because no such evidence exists.  Attempts to paint survivors and those coming forward as political operatives is an intimidation tactic. The work has been to establish trust with the women coming forward and connect them with pro bono legal support. Their stories will be out there soon. Despite private efforts to discredit and intimidate me and others who are coming forward, Swalwell’s team could send me a cease and desist. But that still hasn’t happened. Because the truth is an absolute defense.

“Politico reports the allegations of inappropriate behavior have come from multiple left-leaning influencers and other social media accounts without evidence.” That statement is a fact. There hasn’t been any evidence revealed at this time. Just hearsay rumors. And on top of that, these “influencers” have been saying repeatedly for weeks that the evidence is coming soon. Yet they keep posting about it.

NEWS Eric Swalwell launched two LLCs to cash in on his political power that’s raising ethics and conflicts of interest concerns. His Findraiser LLC that he co-founded in 2024 is an AI-powered tool sold to Democrats to analyze campaign donor databases to help them raise more money. It’s been used by dozens of Democrat campaigns including reportedly Senators Adam Schiff and Ruben Gallego. The ethics problem is a sitting member of Congress co-owning a company used by campaigns means he could be exploiting his political position to promote his business. Plus its investors are not publicly disclosed-it’s unclear if they have business before Congress. He reportedly doesn’t earn an income but it’s worth up to $1M if he sells it according to his California state disclosures. The other LLC looks to be cashing in on his time on the House Permanent Select Subcommittee on Intelligence, House Judiciary, Homeland Security and the House Intel Subcommittee on NSA and Cybersecurity. He’s got an LLC to take in cash flows from his work with Spycraft Entertainment, a tv and movie company making national security and political dramas. He’s made about $32K from Spycraft. There is no public record that he’s been accused by lawmakers of violating House ethics rules.

I've had a lot of texts tonight from very well-connected people in CA politics on the other side of the aisle They have ALL known about Swalwell for at least 6 years and some legacy media orgs have been working since then to get the women on the record Buckle up. Now that Dems are out of power in Congress and the WH they feel a little more secure coming forward. But at this point I don't see what stops the train from rolling down the tracks
