Sure, they’ve deliberately manufactured a fake “heartbeat” result to try and cover their error.
But please know FIFA has the raw output of the Spyder Cam. They know that the shot of the Spyder Cam shook when the cable was hit.

Before England’s goal in minute 45+2 against Norway, the sensor in the Connected Ball showed no peak in the 'heartbeat of the ball' when in the air, and therefore no evidence that the ball touched the overhead wire and changed the movement of the ball.

England's equaliser should not have stood. The ball hit the camera cable and changed direction. Under the IFAB Laws, that is interference from an outside agent. That said, Sørloth deserves jail time.

Not a soccer guy but it does feel intuitively wrong that if the offensive side get the ball into the box with a genius series of passes or a great cross, all onside, and then there's a chaotic sequence of blocked shots or rebounds or whatever, a goal can be undone by half a foot.
